Climate change is more important than your rent.

More good high paying jobs were created by the IRA and Infrastructure law. You could probably start an apprenticeship next month and never have to worry about paying rent again. They would pay for you to go to tech school and within 3-4 years you could be a journeyman making bank

This is literally what AOC wanted with the Green New Deal which was praised to high heavens by leftist, but it's bad if it comes from Biden. So transparent :rip:

This... is not true? :skull: Or would take someone being purposefully and intellectually dishonest to frame the situation as "AOC wanted X and Biden has done 10% of what was proposed in X, and thus they're doing the same thing" like as though what matters is descriptive and not the extent of how far these policies go or how much money is invested.

"The single largest investment in [brand new technology]" is a misnomer because the emphasis of size is vs other investments previously done and *not* the investment studies have found will be needed to prevent climate catastrophe:

It's so interesting to see how centrists on here do this ebb and flow of realizing the **** show of American politics to then going back to being hyper-defensive and reactionary.

Rent won't matter on an inhabitable planet

The issue is that even modest solutions like different versions of the Green New Deal called for a minimum of $30 Trillion in infrastructure over a 10-year-period (on top of trillions more for other projects) and yet the IRA offers... $3T over the same 10 years.

This is the issue with liberals. They should be able to recognize where neoliberal politicians are failing while still being able to dissect why someone like @Raver is a right-winger arguing in bad faith given his previous posts calling to jail homeless people, and push back on their propaganda without silencing those who are on their side.
