Hozier's longevity is honestly so impressive. I stanned his debut hard and I'm more of a casual listener nowadays I guess, but he constantly releases quality so I'm happy for him. Great songwriting, melodies, and voice. :clap3: Lemme give the new album a listen.

 

Also just saw that his debut was #107 on BB200 last week too. Classic! :ohwow:

hozier just put out his best work to date and I couldn't be more impressed.

his longevity and relevance 10 years into his career without having a defining hit song since take me to church should be studied.

A STRONG TOP 20

Five debuts, one re-entry and a lot of Taylor Swift drive this week’s Top 20 to one of the strongest non-holiday rankings we’ve seen in a while. Columbia’s Hozier leads all new titles at midweek with a possible Top 5 bow and nearly 55k. Russ’ SANTIAGO (DIEMON/gamma.) isn’t far behind at 52k and could be Hozier’s spoiler for a Top 5 debut. Republic will hold down half of the Top 10 and have eight entries in the Top 20, while J-Hope looks to re-enter at #3 with the physical release of Jack in the Box (BIGHIT/Geffen).

Now if you'll excuse us, it's time for happy hour.

well last week he got the record for highest vinyl week ever for a hip-hop album by discounting it by 90% on his website. idk about this week tho.
