And MJ was his idol growing up. It’s not really that surprising he would make that type of music for his debut.

I understand selecting the 4 best, or your 4 favorites. Almost all? :ace:

I think the only other time that has happened in mainstream music history is when Natalie Cole recorded a debut album comprised entirely of demos that Aretha Franklin rejected (major hits "This Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" and "Inseparable" included).

I really hope that it would be a song with vibes similar to Can’t Stop the Feeling, rather than something just fitted for the movie characters.

Agreed. Like Man of the woods was not needed at all, and 20/20 part 1 was fire but the 2nd album is forgotten 🤭

Justin should have had them apart of his Super Bowl performance. Such a miss opportunity

He made them apart of his video vanguard just before the Super Bowl announcement So them coming to Super Bowl would have been underwhelming.

Seems he really wanted Janet but she thankfully DECLINED.

Janet is Britney’s idol and Janet turned down Boys , Slave For You and Cathy Dennis said Toxic was meant for Janet Jackson too.

IT HAPPENS!!

A track or two? Commonplace. An entire album? Seems lazy to me, idol or not.

Whining about Britney when he was the cheater aside... you also don't find it corny that he took an entire album of shelved MJ songs to make his debut album? :ace: Where is the creativity?

Both of these things aren't true. God, why can't some of you just shut up when you don't know about things?

Wade Robson in fact admitted he and Britney were together while she was dating Justin (his best friend). It's a plain fact.

And Pharrell never said the entire album was meant for Michael, Pharrell didn't even work in every track of that album. He offered Michael part of the instrumentals, but once Michael scrapped them, he started working on them for Justified. Justin is a songwriter on every song on that album.

Wade Robson

Oh my God. :pukey: It was at this point I stopped reading. HE is your reliable source? The same guy who has flip-flopped on whether he was abused by Michael Jackson for the last 25 years whenever the money/attention runs out? Your definition of "plain fact" and mine are seemingly different, because Mr. Robson is the National Enquirer of facts. :coffee2:

Anything more than 50% MJ instrumentals is considered laziness in my book. You do the math.

He was Britney's affair at the time. Only he and Britney are reliable sources about this. But anyway, the whole world knows she in fact cheated on him, she even admitted to doing "something bad" to him in that reality show she made with her ex-husband. At this point, you're just trying to ignore the truth and rewrite history. But yeah, she cheated.

I'm not sure who said anything about "more than 50%"... Sounds more like you're just trying to throw made-up "facts" again. Justin wrote every single song on this album. There's a 15-hour footage of him and producers in studio creating the songs that ended up on Justified. Nothing was already done and given to him... Justin wrote every single song on every single album of his. Now ask yourself if Britney, for example, has an album in which she wrote every single track
