Apparently she shot this video before she was pregnant so I’m hoping for heavy choreo and sexy shots :duca:

I have a feeling the song is going to be a ******* BOP!

If this gives Never Ever ft Jeezy vibes I’m going to SCREAM

Love the trailer, the jury's out on the song.

Crazy that she had a Lil Baby collab in the can pre-pregnancy and opted to release everything but that. :toofunny3:

Perhaps it was her ace card with the initial attempt at the album's rollout, which figures given how much of a heat streak he was on when she was releasing the likes of Jump, Better Thangs etc.

The slight irony is that his buzz is on the quiter end these days. Just her luck :noparty:

Also wondering why she's putting this video out now when it could have been saved as the follow-up to How We Roll. I kinda imagined that going the EP route would help de-emphasize the "album sales" convo while still giving her an outlet to release a body of work. Dropping this video release day almost makes it seem like she's angling for a notable debut (which, not to be negative, we know isn't going to happen either way).

Gonna woosah and wish her the best lol.

Dropping the video to this song so close from the debut of How We Roll is very confusing to me. It'll either take away from the steam that HWR is gaining right now OR it'll just completely bomb since people's focus is on HWR, especially since it was just serviced to radio. I get that she's doing all she can to promote this EP but I still feel like it could have waited a few more weeks or even a month before she released this video. Still very excited for it either way!

Excited too, but also confused by her strategy or lack thereof.

Not to harp on about the negative, but it always (always!) feels like we fans are more adept at handling this woman's career than the people she actually employs to do it. And crucially more than she herself, as it's clear she's giving the directions. It's SO clear she does not have music-minded management. Like how is her social following so big and yet they can't savvy their way to translate that into "some" (hell, any) kind of musical resonance? It's giving her management are better brand managers than they are music managers. She'd really benefit from getting a dedicated music team for that side of her career.

Most annoying is the fact that none of it feels like rocket science or anything particularly difficult. It's basic decisions like reading the room about what kind of songs to drop or, like in this instance, when and when not to drop certain videos. Like you said, she risks cannibalizing one or both of the songs she's got out. It would make way more sense to drop more of a viral video for something like BRB (think the basic but serviceable video for Greatest Love) than a whole big-budget video with Lil Baby just as she's sending the newly dropped Chris Brown collab to radio. :ace:

I honestly like that we are getting everything front loaded. It ads ti the excitement and I think she doesn’t care about the numbers is what I’m assuming. She just wants give fans something to enjoy

Its because she employs "yes men/women"...... I've noticed this more and more as time goes on...... I mean its great that she has some control in her career, but I feel like she has TOO MUCH control......where some moves she makes dont make sense, and no one is gonna check her for it, leaving fans frustrated.

She also isn't really socially aware or reads the room with the her fans or GP......which is why JUMP and Da Girls were DOA or not well received.  Or teasing minute long audio for songs that isn't released for weeks, smh. Idk if she thought that would build anticipation because it didn't, it was annoying.

She definitely needs to clean house on her team, but I feel like she doesn't care.

I will be streaming "Ci Ci", regardless.

The song is OK. I would've rather her done a video for BRB or Low Key

Lil Baby did not add anything special to the song I hope the video proves me wrong

I was thinking the same thing. She could have released this in September to keep the EP momentum alive
