Gaga was called the new Queen of Pop since day 1 , why?

Gaga was called the new Queen of Pop since day 1 while no other pop star in history managed to achieve this, the best they could achieve was a title like a Princess of Pop.

What Gaga has that is different that all the other pop stars?

15 years after her debut and Gaga reached a legendary status conquering the pop and jazz sscene, conquering Holywood and basicallly all the entertaining industry that even the title Queen of Pop is too little for her.

Why Gaga is just so much bigger than everyone else? Is it cause her talent is just 10x bigger than all the other pop stars combined? Discuss

One of. We can have multiple Queens of Pop 👑.

JK Taylor Swift is objectively the new queen of pop

By the time Gaga debuted the media developed a bad habit of labelling every other female MPG the queen of pop - literally everyone from Gaga to Katy, to Britney and Rihanna were constantly called the queen of pop at the time. Thankfully they stopped

You're indeed a little legend

The 2000/early 2010s all about “finding the next”

The next Mj. The next Madonna. The next Janet. The next Whitney. Etc etc

It wasn’t specific to Gaga

Album sales declining in the streaming era... shocking

I mean it wasn't day 1 that's for sure.

Even when Just Dance started taking off I don't anybody thought "ooh that's the next Madonna"

Well you have Britney in your avi so the same applies to her in the physical era

The point is, if anybody is the "new" queen of pop, it would be Taylor Swift. The queen of pops sales wouldn't decline sharply after her first or second era.

Haha she was called that by whom on day 1??

She just had that iconic superstar aura from day 1. Ugh, her mind.

That's not the only thing that decreased in those charts sis

ot: Poptimism and her huge rise  helped

The real QOP wasn't as successful anymore, so ofc ppl would be looking for the next big thing to crown too

(The closest as u said, was Princess - but mostly because it was a young teen star)

It wasn't a given tho, since as I said - she was polarizing

Because she has the IT factor, the STAR quality, TABS, TRICON, etc etc
