ATRL Moderator Tsareena Posted August 15, 2023 ATRL Moderator Posted August 15, 2023 they should apply these to some of the companies they let advertise on youtube related to nutrition/ fitness 1

Trent W Posted August 15, 2023 Posted August 15, 2023 If it’s about vaccines and anti-science misinformation then I’m all for it If it’s about holistic or alternative medicine then this is very very problematic.

If U Seek Amy Posted August 18, 2023 Posted August 18, 2023 While I did not read the new policy and absolutely am all about taking down nonsense medical information that could hurt others, I don't think it could hurt too much to allow it, BUT put warnings on videos/require people who make said content to make statements about how that information is not verified/backed up. I mean straight up scamming stuff/outright dangerous stuff I get. But if people just want to talk about their experience with maybe something herbal that helped them I don't see the harm depending on the context. But I do agree better safe than sorry 1
