I’d argue that it extended into the early/mid 2010s. Beyoncé is one of the hardest working entertainers/artists out there. She may have slowed her roll after she had children but no one can argue that she gives it 250%

Wow and to think she's doing so many visuals from B'Day, release many singles from I Am, collaborations :jonny6:

I remember going on Twitter and seeing the comments like “this is Beyoncé at Billie and Olivia’s current age” it was the survivor era and ***** hskjssbsnsjsj :deadbanana4: Ms Mama was EVERYWHEREEEEE and SOOOO polished (the Mj 30th Anniversary performance she outshined everyone that night) and these new girls barely wanna do a livestream. Matthew worked his kid to the bare bone but SHE truly wanted the results and if you’re a true diehard you know she’s kinda regretful of it now. Which is why she mentions sacrificing her childhood and the lack of promo at all. She deserves to be a recluse who can relax and enjoy the FRUITS of her iconic labor :clap3:

The way 4 had like 95% less promo than her previous projects yet 95% more than anything that came after. :toofunny2:

THEE Beyonce's THREE albums in six years is a little less than insane, but respectable.

Whether work-ethic is the right wording here is the question. She pumped out content under her label. Doesn't equate to work-ethic.

Now if you wanna ask about her 2010's/2020's hustle, that's something I'd agree with you on since she's pretty much her own boss now.

Unimaginable amounts of promo

On top of all those single campaigns and album campaigns, she was also cross-promoting films, clothing lines, fragrances and other products. She deserved that break she took after I Am... tour wrapped in 2010. She disappeared for an entire year and came back pregnant.

You forgot all the movies she did and singles release for their soundtracks.

2001 Carmen:A Hip Hopera

2002 Austin Powers In Goldmember

2003 The fighting Temptations

2005  The Pink Panther

2006 Dreamgirls

2008 Cadillac Records

2009 Obsessed

Her work ethic and drive is why she so successful and deserves all her success :worship2:

Yeah but it drained her out I fear to the point we now have an album cycle where the only thing that happened was... the album :deadbanana:

And a short tour for it a year later.

If only she had 10% of the drive she had back then to at least give the fans a couple music videos and a couple televised performances. She's gone down too far in the other extreme imo.

You can't deny her work ethic was insane. She was everywhere, promoting the heck out of her stuff. I wish the new girls would put in that kind of effort too, instead of just dropping the song/album and then ignoring it.

The lack of promo from pretty much everyone these days is so sad. Not even Taylor did a single promo performance for her latest studio album. Pop culture is dead

Did you forget she was also doing all of that on top of touring non stop?

Destiny's Child World Tour - 2002

Dangerously In Love Tour - 2003

Verizon First Ladies Tour - 2004

Destiny Fulfilled - 2005

The Beyoncé Experience - 2007

I Am… - 2009-2010

And that’s not including shows as openings acts, and various other mini tours, performances, etc.

Well, she was Billboard's Top Female and Top Girl-Group of the Decade. She earned that those titles.

You know her succes is truly deserves. She has the talent and she works hard for it :clap3:

Yes and look where it got her. Shame she’s so allergic to it now but can’t blame her (well actually I can cos she could do SOMETHING but lemme not)

Seriously though the reason we aren’t getting another like her is because she truly did put in the work no one will anymore. It’s 2004 and you still don’t know Beyoncé? She’s going to make damn sure you do :skull:
