IDC to read this thread but I’m cackling at the idea of coming for Taylor’s character given that millions of people are so deeply invested in the “character of Taylor Swift” as portrayed in her lyrics (and beyond) to the extent that it’s made her the biggest solo artist in music history while most of your pop tart faves are chasing assorted side hustles due to their general musical irrelevancy.

Exactly. Considering how MASSIVE the Sour era was, her current streams are really not that good. "Underperforming" means different things for different artists, it doesn't necessarily means "completely flopping".
