Achilles. Posted November 10, 2023 Author Share Posted November 10, 2023 Wow. I love it. Her typical strong lyricism shines throughout. But my gods it’s thematically relentless, how many existential crises can an album trigger in the course of an hour? I know she’s always written about these things, but for whatever reason it’s hitting so much more savagely tonight. Kid Genius, Grow Up, and Obvious are my new favorites—and the most meltdown-inducing of the bunch, so that’s fun for my mental health.
