This is honestly so so cute.

Demi saying she's listening to a lot of summery indie stuff atm gives me very unrealistic hopes of some soft rock songs on the next album.

But I'm just a delusional stan. 🤡

This is like a blend of country, R&B, and indie rock

all these soundtrack songs and side projects, Demetria is feeding us

People forget a lot of TAOSO was lowkey soft and indie rock. Melon Cake, title song, Lonely People, The Kind of Lover I Am, The Way You Don’t Look At Me those are very California yacht rock.

“ Aurora is the soft-rock holy grail, an achievement that transforms American music and rends its creators in the process. The album struggles to apprehend Fleetwood Mac's audacity, conflating a '70s rock pinnacle with easy-listening ballads. “

Nobody's forgetting it, sis. TAOSO has some of my favourite Demi songs because they're soft rock and indie. Carefully especially. I'd like her to revisit it, that's all.

Her voice and tone really shine in songs like that.

The way Demi hasn't acknowledge this ONCE yet :deadbanana4:

This takes the cake as the most random release of hers. She keeps outdoing herself. :ahh:

The unreleased songs “Pretend” and “Hope is a scary thing” both give me this vibe too, I love this style of music!

Was this recorded in 2017?

She sounds good on it, but after a couple listens I wouldn't use this song. I'm just not a fan of the song in general that's all, but I do like this sound for her.
