This album will be the first album in history to (hopefully) debut twice with sales >1million. I hope the TV is so good that it eclipses the stolen version, since the stolen version is going to put up a huge fight. I’m sure Taylor knows this too and the TV won’t disappoint

Imagine selling more than a million copies in a week of what is basically a re-issue with a handful of leftover tracks that didn't make it the first time? And in 2023! The other artists looking at her success must be so confused. This is so unprecedented and so hard to wrap your mind around

She is doing what everyone else does currently in the music industry. In Guts' thread or Utopia's there are no constant discussions about them milking their fans.

The vast majority of artists on major labels release 5+ vinyl variants of every single album. You even see mid-tier artists with 10+ variants that don't even crack 50,000 units first week.

Every artist does this, it’s already been shown with proof over and over but people love pretending they can’t see and only accuse Taylor of it. At least Taylor makes it fun unlike artists that release 10 diff color vinyl with the same cover.

Every fanbase has those types that buy everything, it doesn’t mean everyone’s like that. If they were, she wouldn’t have such big streaming numbers.

I only bought the yellow vinyl since I actually listen to them and it was such a nice looking color but I’m not planning on buying any more than 1, I never have. (unless a signed one gets released, those are cool collectibles i don’t open)

There is technically 5 different covers for Guts. Each one of the four on the webstore has a slight variation as each variant corresponds to a single letter in the title reflected in the rings she is wearing being changed (i.e. the "G" variant has the "G" ring slightly darker, the "U" variant has the "U" ring, etc). Then the Target exclusive is a different picture entirely.

I totally agree, I was mostly trying to point out everybody does multiple covers since that's what people seem to fault her for more-so than the different colored vinyls.
