It will all depend on how much she wants to push. She can definitely do 1.6M if she goes all in.

not 1989 potentially coming to snatch its crown back as her biggest debut :deadbanana4:

36k more vinyls sold in the last 3 hours? Taylor's numbers are so insane that it's difficult to believe them.

I can still look them up on all her shops so if anyone is curious about the stock of a specific item they can tag me.

If this change in stock is due to purchases and not because they retired some stock for the international markets (they do that sometimes) it has already crossed 100k. Around 110k for me and 140k for the people who believe there were more available.

I am lowkey thankful that I missed the three CDs because I will definitely get all the vinyl versions :skull: and I am paying CA$64 each :weeps:

Are we able to see total pre sales already for this album? Are we near 1 mil already?

Around 550k. More or less the amount of final pre-orders Midnights had.

Wait. He might be right. We still don’t know whether there will be a Target exclusive variant

Most likely there will be, but maybe it has the same cover as the standard one as it happened with Speak Now TV.

It was smart of them to drop the Sunrise vinyl first since it was the least popular CD color and sold out last. Capitalize on the hype and maintain it with the more popular colors.

does the yellow vinyl not include the polaroids/fake polaroids that are coming with the variant cover CDs?

afaik, biggest vinyl debuts:

575k midnights

269k speak now tv

182k harrys house

114k red tv

108k 30

102k evermore

it should be top 2, but will it be #2?

No polaroids on the vinyl, it might not even be a gatefold :deadbanana2:

1989 TV will eclipse even the Midnights vinyl first week sales, would dare to say by a big margin too.

It crossed 100k in 3 hours, the 175k are almost gone now.

I feel for sure it's going to be #2, not #1 since it's not a new album but I'm sure it's going to blow SN away, there's no way it isn't doing more than that with the hype

Also about the vinyls, does the blue come with polaroids? If not then none of them are going to have them then I would think

Going by description it's just going to be the 2 vinyl inside 2 printed inner sleeves with each variant having different pics on the sleeves and front and back cover.

Between blue and yellow it already is at 300k vinyl sold and we're still missing 2 other variants, it's for sure beating Midnights :deadbanana2:

Not 550k+ pre-orders already. :deadbanana4:

Yeah, 1989 OG you are bones. She is going to outsell Speak Now TV based on pre-orders alone. :deadbanana4:

As I foretold it last week! :gaycat5: I kinda didn’t actually totally believe myself when I said it but that’s another matter!

Both album covers are horrendous. How can indie acts who have no budget serve something a thousand times better and then huge artists like this serve up such mediocre garbage. This isn't just about Taylor and maybe I'm more critical because I like 1989 but these in particular are strikingly bad. That aside this is the rerecording I actually have interest in, this will be huge and I'm excited for the bonus tracks.

I like the covers but I wish they made them look more like polaroids
