Taylor Swift - '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

Not sure where Taylor magically pulled more pure sales from, but if HDD is correct, this prediction basically guarantees it beats 1989 original on pure sales alone as well.

Let’s not celebrate early because we never know if the final Billboard numbers will be lower or higher than HDD :dancehall:

But lately they’ve been higher, I hope this cracks 1.6M there and can narrowly beat the OG 1989’s pure sales.

We should be celebrating its doing this much to begin with :rip: it's beat it overall and that makes sense considering og wasn't on streaming and pure sales were bigger 10 years ago

Of course, I just mean celebrating about it surpassing Midnights :giraffe:  we won’t know for sure about that until Sunday

Call me pessimistic, but I just don’t see Is It Over Now being a mega smash. And goodluck booking that 2nd week at #1 for IION

It's doing extremely well and already reached #1 in a ton of countries anyway also radio is on board

it was the most popular song this week in the us, the uk, canada, australia and new zealand. it could fall off the charts right now and it will still be a success :michael:

I don't think Is It Over Now? will get another week at #1 immediately, but I think it's a reasonably strong contender for January/February. It has time to grow on radio before Christmas songs dominate for a while, then it can peak at radio early next year once they're all gone and Cruel Summer has died down. A little sprinkle of promotion and some luck with it catching on with the GP on streaming services and you have a neat little hit on your hands, maybe one that can muster a few weeks at #1.

If there's any truth to the rumor about a live album for the Eras Tour, then she also has a good reason to keep the song alive, and she can perform it at one of the upcoming dates to put the live version out as a digital single to hype the live album and promote 1989 TV. This single could be an excellent opportunity to make some stars align!

It’s already exploding at radio, what’s your opinion based on?

So apparently in the UK, Taylor managed to get 5 tracks top 10, 12 in the top 20 & 22 in the top 40!

I am just assuming the entirety of '1989 (TV)' made the top 40, unless 'Anti-Hero' kicked out 'You Are In Love'!

Of course only 3 songs charted cause of the rule, but we know the real story...
