1.45-1.55m for the first prediction and unlike every other artist, her numbers only rise as the week progresses. This is clearing Midnights, oh my TayLORD. :deadbanana4:

I know it rose for Red TV, but does anyone know what the initial projection for Speak Now TV was? I feel like they edit their posts so its hard to go through their site to find the initial numbers.

An early report said 5-600K, then first exact prediction was 650-700K. It ended up doing 716K. So “worst” case scenario, they’re spot on with 1989 TV and it ends up getting very close to surpassing Midnights.

Hmm. I wonder when the last time an artist had 3/t10 Year End the way Taylor may do with midnights/1989tv/lover.

I assume it happened in the 60s. After that nothing obvious jumps out at me.

I don’t typically care about sales, but when it comes to Taylor, it’s exhilarating to see her smashing all her records constantly. We will never witness an artist with this much star power ever again. :jonny:

Was it, over? :gaycat6:

When she laid down on your couch? :gaycat2:

Was it, over? :gaycat6:

When he unbuttoned my blouse :gayliecat1:

And did you think I didn't see you? :gaycat3:

There were flashing lights :gaygacat5:

At least I had the decency, to keep my nights, out of sight :gayrrycat1:

Only rumors bout my hips and thighs :gaydonnacat1:

And my whispered sighs :gaynetcat4:

It's kinda surprising she hasn't released a Christmas album yet, imagine the massive push every year :jonny5:

I often think about how I just kind of lucked into the winning team. I love Taylor because of her music, and I have for basically 16 years now. But I imagine if back then I had fallen for Katy or something how miserable I’d be these days  :ahh:

A guaranteed #1 whenever she does decide to do it :deadbanana4:

She did but it was awful lmao. One of her only slip ups.

Imagine celebrating 2019 as an OTH, only to get stomped again and again and again practically every week after July 2020 — her numbers, acclaim, unstoppable rise in relevance, her name being uttered at every corner. I’d either just give in and stan or genuinely seek therapy to cope with this global takeover. :ryan3:

Yeah but it was only an EP and it happened around her debut so I don't really count it.

True. With her more mature vocals and a Jack Antonoff’d production, she could pull off something really nice.

Is It Over Now is a Top 10 Taylor song for sure.

The way that she has 50 songs in her Top 10 at this point

I truly hope that in tomorrow's update Is It Diamond Certified Already? is the #1 song and it gets the focused push to radio on Monday and given a video.

The Beatles in 1964. Maybe Herb Alpert and The Monkees in the 1960s.

Yall, I am bothered by I Wish You Would.

Compare 1:25-1:30 between the OG and TV. The high pitched note in the instrumental is missing. That used to be the best part of the instrumental breakdown. :biblio: How on earth did they miss that detail? They did include it at 1:41 and onward but that note should’ve happened 10 seconds before that. :rip:

Every time 1:25 rolls around I keep looking out for that note but it never comes. So disappointed because the rest of the song is great.

Won't Speak Now TV also be top 10 this year?

as mentioned she had and as recently as 2019 she released an original Christmas song Christmas Tree Farm and it only peaked at #59 . an all Christmas album would certainly chart higher but it is surprising that  did not.

swifties literally never lose…it really is insane to stan something with this level of talent and success. i am constantly fed, i never get bored because The Lord conquers every genre she tries and i get to brag about the most astronomical level of success. like OTHs really are doomed to suffer…
