I think people say the site specifies 21 songs, but I too NEED The Bad Blood remix, i hope it’s at least uploaded to streaming

I think we might get it like ITWAM, S&S, and EO. Somewhere down the line on the tour she might drop it single format with the 1989 TV cover.

Either way - we’re streaming TL(TV) today and WHEW I forgot the upgrade :jonny6:

edit: not y’all in the posts right above beating me to it :deadbanana2:

which songs are y'all most excited for? My top 5 anticipated songs would be:

  • New Romantics
  • Out Of The Woods
  • Clean
  • How You Get The Girl
  • I Know Places

:WAP:

Clean

HYGTG - strong feeling the earworm guitars will be botched ala WANEGBT opening flicks

IKP will have a glow up, those OG vocals

IWYW will also have a glow up “Stand up wasted” you are over!

YAIL will also have a glow up unless Jack remembers it’s about Lena

Wildest Dreams was starting to go viral on TikTok so she moved FAST.

Wildest Dreams was her first mega viral Tik Tok song so she released the TV to snatch some of the streams. She had also just joined Tik Tok less than a month before so it was kind of a big moment for her. It had also been teased in the film Spirit Untamed a few months prior.

This Love was used in the trailers/an episode for the highly anticipated series The Summer I Turned Pretty based on the book series.

So the coffee clock shot of her blue and black nail is correct then right? Blue was at 8 o’clock and 1989 was announced in August. The black nail is at 2 o’clock so Rep will be announced in Feb 2024. I wonder if we’ll get re-recorded Christmas music this year since the arms of the clock are between 11-12 o’clock??

I think the clock is just for Midnights.

The general consensus of a lot of you girls in the base thread was that 1989 wasn't as exciting for fans as Red, Speak Now & co. due to them having more fan favorite songs but it took the Speak Now TV thread over a month to get this many pages  :gaycat7:

I was girls in the base thread.

I am obviously excited for 1989 (it's a Taylor release after all), but I am not awaiting its release in the same way I was waiting for Speak Now. For 1989, I am just enjoying the ride. For Speak Now I was sooo anxious and impatient because that's one of my favorite album of her.

Same here! Speak Now is my #1. But I fear we Swifties underestimate 1989's power over us since it's so ubiquitous. Something about 1989 activates a sleeper cell in all of us I fear.

I really hope the standard edition of Target vinyl or smth will have a cover that's similar to the original. The original is just so iconic, I don't like that she veered so far away from it.

I also hope that I Know Places has the same punch the original has. It's her best song and deserves a huge glow-up

I was so sure Red TV will be the biggest. I guess there are more factors other than Red TV being the well-rounded favorite that made Speak Now and 1989 bigger. :gaycat:

I think it also helps that every TV builds upon the last one to build more recognition of what Taylor's Version even is. I know I've had to explain what that means many times to people irl. :rip: With every new one there's thousands of more people who understand what the concept is due to us spreading Her will. :gaycat:

Yes the re release of WD or this love years ago made no sense. She probably didn't have the plan clear in her mind at the time. Now the TV breaks streaming records It was a bad idea. In the last months we have heard in trailers and other things the new versions but without official releases. And also old songs  have became more viral and streamed than how WD was when She said "pop Emergency!".

The release of this love especially (wasn't viral or anything) was totally pointless.

WDTV and TLTV might get a cute million on release day, but She really sabotaged 1989(Christopher Rowe's Version) debut streams by releasing them like that. :bibliahh:

Would it be delulu to hope they fixed Wildest Dreams ?

Someone from my circle literally asked me yesterday if she already owns 1989. :deadbanana2:

You’re onto something sis!
