She did the damn thing on This Love. If only the rest of the album was as much of an upgrade from OG

to be honest, midnights did a little bit better
but midnight had lil baby album as its competition while 1989 has bad bunny and drake album bombs

Lavender Haze was at #1 and #40 before getting combined (slvt: #1 and #102)

YAIL (lowest chart track from 1989) has a higher position than Dear Reader (lowest charting track from Midnights) did though

i think 1989 will end really near on spotify. What makes a difference it's the playlists. As a new album Midnights got a bigger playlists launch with several songs, so this can make the difference between ending the day with 185M and not 165M

Plus didn't the deluxe version for 1989 TV come out 5 hours later than the 3 am version for Midnights so all the 2nd versions have had less time to climb

yup, that's also a factor

She did such a great job with this album :clap3:. Speak Now TV, Fearless TV, and 1989 TV are such upgrades from the originals :jonnycat:

Red TV was hit or miss on some songs but it's still a nice accompaniment to the og if I feel like hearing her new stronger vocals :clap3:

How many days one streams on Spotify would put ****! in a good position for #1? 3.5? 4?

Tick-tock on the clock, I pace down your block

I broke my own heart 'cause you were too polite to do it

Waves crash on the shore, I dash to the door

You don't knock anymore, and my whole life's ruined

I broke my own heart 'cause you were too polite to do it

Waves crash to the shore, I dash to the door

You don't knock anymore, and I always knew it

And my life had been ruined

I might be wrong, maybe debut will be the peak of the rerecordings

that's what i've been saying, debut will be an event especially cause it's last

Crazier was the song that made me discover her i have a really special attachment to it i really hope it's on debut tv

:jonny3: I’m sorry but there’s no way this translates to 150M on Spotify, it has to be more

when Taylor actually broke the midnights record but her team told the platforms to stay silent until Taylor speaks about it first then what?

Say Don’t Go is sooo good but is kinda tainted with the fact that Dianne Warren had a part creating it :rip: idk she’s just such a meme it’s hard to take the song seriously because of her. A SLAY though, nonetheless!

Welcome To New York TV :jonny:, now wait a moment. It's always been over-hated for no reason but it's so great now.

I like how she tried to make her voice sound like her 2014 thin vocals in the last chorus. she didn't do it on any other tv and I think she wanted to convey the wide-eyed optimism of the song that is believable from 24-year-old Taylor and not 33-year-old Taylor. Her mind :ryan3:

Style tv's bridge sounds so good omg. The twinkling synths in the background, the background ahhhhhhhhs, and her stronger belts sound so good together

some of you might be deaf (unsurprisingly) :khalyan:

I made up my mind. The best vault tracks are Don't You /

Messagé in a Bottlé / Castles Crumbling / Suburban Legends

Half asleep, takin’ your time
In the tangerine, neon light, this is luxury
You're not sayin' you're in love with me
But you're going to
Half awake, takin' your chances
It's a big mistake, I said, "It might blow up in your pretty face"
I'm not saying, "Do it anyway" (Do it anyway)
But you're going to

All of **** sounds so heavenly (especially the first pre-chorus) but this part is so addictive :clap3:

I'm sorry, but everytime the chorus kicks in on StyleTV I ctfuuuu. So, so bad. The levels are everywhere. :bibliahh:

Also what is going AWN at 2:03-2:06 :bibliahh:
