Spit out my coffee reading this. Electric (Please don't) Touch (Me) is probably one of her worst songs ever. I get second hand embarrassment just accidentally playing it/not switching songs fast enough.

:bibliahh:

I guess some people don't care they're showing some questionable taste just to trash this album

The way Shake It Off is no longer skipped by me... :deadbanana2: how did she manage to make it better

Debut is going to bring us the best vault tracks. Nearly all of her unreleased studio demos from that era are better than the standard tracks. I just hope she picks the right ones because her taste is so awful.

I NEED her to put Sweet Tea & God's Graces on Debut TV so bad. :jonny5:

Speak Now and 1989 only having one real good vault really made me realize how RED is gonna be the standout TV in this aspect.

She’s not gonna top Forever Winter or IBYTAM and that’s ok. SDG is still incredible

Rearranging this to be my 1989 :katie2:

IION works better as T5, especially in between her sisters. Tell me otherwise :pig: It is also FAR more emotional than AYHTDWS.

Switched some positions cuz i felt they flow better narratively or sonically.

  1. New Romantics
  2. Blank Space
  3. Style
  4. Out Of The Woods
  5. Is It Over Now?
  6. I Wish You Would
  7. I Know Places
  8. Wonderland
  9. Bad Blood (ft. Kendrick Lamar)
  10. Shake It Off
  11. Now That We Don't Talk
  12. Wildest Dreams
  13. This Love
  14. Clean

The AYHTDWS erasure is not cute
i might so something similar tho and keep some Stolen Versions like Style, New Romantics

“I’m standing on the tightrope, alone” line from stay don’t go reminds of an old song so much.

It finally clicked. It sounds like the chorus of “battlefield” by Jordin sparks.

Does anyone else hear this, or am I just crazy?

Yeah, this is the album I'm most excited of. I became a Swiftie because of this album, and Taylor actually got me to country music. I kinda lost interest on her music when she went pop, but Lover is cute tho. :giraffe:

I hope she releases a double album for Self Titled (Taylor's Version), with 10 ++ songs from her unreleased studio demos.

Why the hell are people complaining so much about Style when it sounds almost THE EXACT SAME as the original? When will Swifties stop this endless nitpicking over EVERYTHING? :ace:

They hype themselves up to unattainable levels and no wonder they get disappointed. The amount of people expecting melodrama quality from 10 year old REJECTED songs will forever confound me

SPILL, the best vault track so far. I'm so happy we got a gorgeous MV for it too.

Once again, she is making the wrong single choice. ****! is great but does not have hit potential imo.

Say Don’t Go is the radio single among the vault tracks.

Other than ****!, the vault was truly empty as we feared. And we will continue to blame Jack Antonoff.

****! is soooooooo good though. Her delicate vocal delivery <3 The dreamy vibes <3 "And if they call me a ****, you know it might be worth it for onceee / and if I'm gonna be DRUNK, might as well be drunk in loveee" <3 So much better than The Man'd white feminist energy I was expecting.

Say Don't Go is typical Diane Warren, very obvious melodies and lyrics. Too much space, goes on too long, once you've heard it twice there's nothing to come back to. Empty vessel of a sing. A laughably inferior version of AYHTDWS.

Now That We Don't Talk is a sing that was written, recorded and released I guess. Adds nothing to my life

Suburban Legends chorus is very infectious and cute. Everything else about the sing gives Mastermind redux. And it was crying out for a final victory lap chorus.

Is It Over Now? a tragic mess. A heavy-handed, dumbed down OOTW for people with -20 IQs. Sits alongside You're Losing Me as a sing She clearly ripped out of Her diary with no thought for sing structure or melody and cobbled together in 5 minutes.

Style TV the funniest thing I've ever heard - the fact that people actually listen to TVs over the originals will always be a scream.

And why am I hearing that She is trying to straightwash this album now? Girl you were the one who wrote "we're a crooked love in a straight line down" and "too in love to think straight", don't blame us!

Listening to this TV is taking me back to 2014, nostalgia is hitting hard with this one.

EXACTLY. The vault tracks are not her best but they're more than fine. I just don't understand the big deal when it comes to Style, there's almost no difference with the original. This constant negativity is exhausting :rip:

Yes! And, Crazier, I’d Lie, Need You Now, This Is Really Happening, Never Mind, Your Face, R-E-V-N-G-E, Long Time Coming, Dark Blue Tennessee.

It needs to be a double album at best. :chick3:

Electric Touch is cute, it's better than Sub Bottom Lesbians at least

GUYSSSSSS the vault is truly hitting like it’s so gorgeous

**** > Say Don’t Go > Now That We Don’t Talk is such an amazing 1,2,3 punch

What single did she choose?

I agree Say Don’t Go is the best choice, even Is It Over Now would be a better option. I do think Fall and Winter gives ****! it’s best potential at least, cause this song would not have pulled a Cruel Summer if it was still summer lol

hate the instrumental for shake it of omgg is so bad :chick3: out of the wood slays now. bad blood was cool too.

I mean, it’s a person-to-person kinda thing, obvi. I’m over here feeling like the vault tracks help elevate 1989 TV to being top three in her discography and #1 among her pop albums, personally. They’re not for everyone but they’re definitely it for some of us!
