Every re-recording feels much fuller and brighter, with a more pleasant, well-rounded swell in the production. On some songs that’s ok. But the problem is that 1989 originally prided itself in minimalism, perfection, sleekness, and vocal attitude. It’s going to take a while to get used to it but apart from Style I think it’s an acceptable recreation.
