Literally what went wrong? She has the budget, the conncetions, the everything, and her original music literally repeaked in quality last year. What could possibly have gone so awfully wrong :bibliahh:

Leave this thread, the album is perfect.

He needed to write 60 different posts in a ways he "loves her" but to drag her down 60 different times. Just ignore.

The transformation on Bad Blood TV is truly insane. She was livid. She made sure that man knew that song was not about ******* Katy Perry anymore. :deadbanana4:

OOTW and Wildest Dreams sound great, the other singles had very tough shoes to fill because they are legitimately stainless perfect pop songs and were fine tuned to a tee. I think we do live in a reality where she’ll own the OG masters eventually, but something as monocultural and beat to death in your memory of how it sounds like Shake It Off really can’t get done twice. And that’s not her fault.

Wonderland, I Know Places and You Are in Love are chef’s kiss perfect recreations. No notes. The vault tracks sound the most like legitimate songs that are in line with the album. I think Suburban Dreams sounds like AI writing a Taylor Swift song but it’s not bad at all, I think Now That We Don’t Talk was the one that stood out most on first listen, but we’ll see.

Is it over now is the best vault track :coffee:

For me, every re-recorded song has been either upgrading or being exactly on par with the original, 1989 included, I've been loving this re-recordings so far

Style is the only exception to me, there's straight up missing parts like the sliding effects between the verses and the chorus, the riff being so synthy instead of an electric guitar, some of the synth bass sounds kinda off, her vocal delivery is mostly fine except for some parts like the talking pre-chorus

One song in four re-records was bound to happen, it's okay

Just went through it all, and it's mostly OK.

I expected slight differences, the one really butchered was Style. New Romantics, Bad Blood and Shake It Off sound noticeably off too, the MEEEEE in New Romantics is the light version of the WEEE in We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

All You Had To Do Was Stay, I Know Places and Wonderland sound great in the rerecording.

The Vault sounds like Midnights (The Midday Edition). Is it Over Now? and Now That We Don't Talk are the standouts of the vault on first listen. I know it's a tired comment at this point, but I really wished she asked someone other than Jack for this Vault.

I honestly quite liked Christopher Rowe’s production on Red TV and Speak Now TV, but not sure why his productions sound “cheap” on this album…

i've decided that the only songs that sound a mess are new romantics, style and ayhtdws. a shame because these were some of my favorites. the rest is a huge improvement or sounds the same, clean and i know places being the biggest improvements imo

Slvt! is literally joining So It Goes, False God, Dress, Willow and Gold Rush clique thematically.

It is the type of sensual, chill bop. :flame2:

Album like that please. :heart2:

It doesn't :deadbanana2:

Style sounds fine to me contrary to what everyone else think but New Romantic is the real atrocity.
