Taylor Swift - '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

They're the best vault tracks. I have 0 expections but while the vault tracks until now didn't add nothing to the originals and were copies of everything already that these sound like a fresh addiction to the original album, they add a new colour to it. It's like all too well 10M but with every track.

Of course no one of them is good as the top singles of the OG album but as last section of the album they're good. I will listened to them when i listened to the album, something didn't happen with SN tedious and trite additions and with fearless forgettable additions.

Wildest Dreams is so good. Why couldn't she deliver this excellence for Style as well.

Oh my GOD that was a LOT. Lemme jot down my initial listening thoughts!!

WTNY - it was fine!

BS - bop, an improvement!

Style - karaoke version, I am NOT impressed. Hopefully it grows!!

OOTW - identical to the OG so no notes

AYHTDWS - great

SIO - this SHOOK me. It was AMAZING??

IWYW - slayed!

Bad Blood - sounded weird

Ill do the rest later I cbf rn.

Also - Jack needs to go. She has the best melodies and lyrics but yea I’ve had enough of this production style.

Is It Over Now? is amazing, my fave from the vault. Finally an upbeat track. The lyrics and the music is so ******* good. The whole song is perfect and deserves to be the single from the Vault

Style TV is poppier than the OG and I love it. Style OG sounded a bit sad and slow tbh

Just went to Spotify to listen to Style (TV) real quick before bed.

Will give the rest a listen after I wake up.

Super excited to hear more of this.  1989 is her best album.

I Know Places has the same issue as Style, the first verse and chorus were mid and flat but after the “We Run!” part I felt her anger and the song elevated. I can live with this. And it’s so much better with great headphones because you can really hear the production, it’s great actually.

I agree, the og 1989 didn't have much of an 80s sound, the vault songs are actually more in that soundscape like you said in another post.

People are really close minded if they think these are midnight rejects, both albums have that sound (which is why midnights is so successful)
