Suburban Legends :jonny:

This is so much better than that terrible AI snippet y'all lost your minds over :jonny:

And as expected, all the dramatics in here from earlier were unwarranted.

Wait Shake it Off sounds more mature I like it! I stopped listening to it a few years back but this will bring it back in rotation.

Vocals overall sound great. Production obviously has hits and misses.

Clean sounds just a hint beachier now with the changes to the mbira and vibraphone and how some of those notes feel more forward in the mix.

Which is perfect because now it feels like being cleansed by a storm on the beach which has always been my favorite place and mood :gaycat6:

I love this album

Now That We Don’t Talk is going to be so underrated simply because of its length :biblionny:

I ******* love it! It left me craving for another verse or two

Suburban Legends is good, but it didn't blow me away on first listen. I'm sure it will grow a lot on me :clap3:

At least we didn't have to deal with people complaining about Wildest Dreams TV all night :fan: I think it's one of the strongest standard rerecordings on here

Why is so hard for some swifties to understand that this sound too different for a lot of us?

Some of us were in our 20s when stolen version came out and we have been listening since then. A lot of you were literally 5 years old when the original version came out. Of course you don't care about the differences

Every single vault track is PERFECT:jonny:

The last minute of Shake It Off with those extra background choir vocals is such a slay :WAP:

i just cant fathom why she chose slvt to be the single :'(

Out of the woods, amazing.

This Love, one of her most beautiful songs.

Blank Space is a highlight, it's incredible, it also fits her voice perfectly.

Well deserved redemption for Welcome to New York and Shake it off.

Jail for whoever was in charge of Style and New Romantics.

Wildest Dreams is perfect un every way.

Bad Blood sounds plane, it's missing some fierceness from the original.

I love the work of Jack in the new tracks, I'm a sucker for Bleachers, so I like them. Sl*t is the weakest one.

did I just see someone suggest Jack did the Style re-recording :deadbanana2:

what in the world is it with everyone blaming him for the Max/Nathan/etc songs when he didn't touch them, and never has before? :deadbanana2:

I remember people blaming him for the Fearless, Speak Now and Red TV songs they thought were butchered without even checking the credits to see he had zero hand in them, and it's the same thing for this album sans the ones he originally produced :deadbanana2:

stop riding Max's dick when he is the one who declined doing the TV's lmao

Fr that long ass paragraph trying to act as if max did everything or sumn pls. Didn't he try to take credit for sio then admitted it was Taylor in Court? Either way that post wasn't made with valid criticism it was made to act as if Taylor didn't write the melodies and lyrics

WTNY - upgrade

Blank Space - good enough, but not sure if I like it as much as the OG

Style - :doc:

OOTW - upgrade in many areas but not sure if I prefer it over the OG.

AYHDTWS - upgrade overall, especially the sTaY's

Shake It Off - as good as the OG

I Wish You Would - as good as the OG

Bad Blood - The pre-chorus :skull:

Wildest Dreams - as good as the OG

How You Get The Girl - upgrade

This Love - as good as the OG

I Know Places - upgrade

Clean - great version, upgrade in some parts

Wonderland - upgrade

You Are In Love - as good as the OG

New Romantics - wouldn't call it "botched" but I prefer the OG, the ah ah ah ah ah ah's sound weird.

SLÜT! - I like it more rn than when I listened to the l*ak, I can see it growing on me even more.

Say Don't Go - really like it, I think it's my fave from the vault.

Now That We Don't Talk - cute

Suburban Legends - I like it, people exaggerate the Mastermind similarities.

Is It Over Now? - really like it
