Taylor Swift - '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

No features, please. 5 vault tracks is already too short to waste on another artist unless they get the Haim/ Maren treatment. None of the Speak Now vault songs needed to have a feature to begin with.

You mean when 1989 TV outsells 1989 OG's first week before it's even actually out.

The alleged preorder numbers so far have me shocked, not gonna lie. I didn’t give miss 1989 her due credit.

I really think there will be more vault songs in some way, like she surprised us with the 3am edition of Midnights.

Is max going to be on this? I really hope she shelled out coins to engage max to redo 1989. It’s her biggest album, she needs to go all out.

She better ******* PAY him. WD TV is already worse but there's hope for the others still. At least get him on some new vault tracks.

I actually think this too! This rerelease has WAY too much potential.

They were spot on with Speak Now TV. This is scientific fact at this point. :WAP:

even her self written album had features so i doubt that

I don't get this from the polaroids.

If they're double sided with pictures, then this alone is 40 pictures.

If they're double sided with a picture in the front, then a lyric on the back, 20 pictures.

So it will be a mix of new and old photos?
Also, weren't her photoshoots sold alongside with the masters? Why she used tour photos for the first two rerecordings, then?

1 of 4 sets. Each set includes 5 unique double-sided Collectible Photo Cards with 15 never-before-seen photos and lyrics from The Vault

By the looks of the album cover, Taylor is saving some coins after that 55M bonuses payout, so no Max. :gaycat4:

Does any version of the OG 1989, anywhere in the world, have the polaroid still to this day? I think they stopped producing it, but why?

I love this cover so much, one of her best for me :coffee: tbh I've retrained from buying physicals for the TVs just because I'm anticipating a box set for all the TVs and I don't wanna have to re-buy the box set for everything, I'd rather just buy that, but I wanna buy this sooooo bad (even if 1989 as an album is more towards the bottom of her discography for me NGL). The vinyl especially. Also what if the box set never comes? :chick3: ahhhhhhh

Yeah if those preorder numbers are right 1M debut is literally already locked.
Speak Now did 210k with streaming, 1989 will do 300k+ with streaming
So with 9 hours of preorders and the expected streaming slayage 600k+ is already locked

This is my absolute favorite Taylor album so sadly I am also likely going to judge this one by far the hardest if any differences are bad or not. So far the 2 tracks we have heard are imo even better so it is looking good thus far. On the bright side we are on a bit more modern album that is more just pop and I feel that opens it up to a bit more room to breathe with voice similarity. It is still quite a time ago though so we will see.
