honestly they're so unhinged and not even in a cute way lol

i saw one where this person showed a pizza box of Domino's that had the word "dreams" printed on it, and idk if you remember but there was a theory about the word "dreams" for a while, and they though that the lyrics "the dominos cascaded in a line" was an easter egg to the Domino's pizza box to direct us to the word "dreams"

Remember Red was already an album with pop songs and the first 2 were huge while 22 a cute hit at the time but not huge. So they probably never thought 1989 would have been even bigger than red, so with more than 2 big hits (at your album number 5 you don't expect like 5 smashes). Probably they thought at Style like the last album single and just a soft late hit and then bye. 

 

When the era turned to be huge huge for the single 4-5 and even for OOTW the budget was again there 

yeah she hired 3 different directors for 3 music videos to find out who did the best (and it was Joseph Kahn)
then she started working with him on her next 7 music videos
