She won't butcher this one, she did good with Wildest Dreams and This Love :superman:

Ugh I really hope you're right :deadbanana4:

Style is literal perfection, and I'm worried she won't be able to capture lighting in a bottle twice :gaycat7:

Stevie Nicks collab

Shes been talking about Taylor at her shows.

This Love TV really elevated the song for me and I didn't care about it that much before. It's easily in my Top 5 now. I also really like WDTV and I barely hear any difference when it comes on unless I'm paying attention to some small details. The average listener/casual fan wouldn't tell them apart and that's the goal. :cm:

Ngl I don't have very high hopes for the rest because I can't see her recreating the magic of Style, Out of the Woods, Blank Space, Shake It Off, etc. Sometimes you just can't recreate music. Even if she got Max Martin on board, I'm pretty sure the result would still be so different. Holy Ground TV had the exact same producer/mixer and it still didn't live up to the OG to me. :michael:

I'm happy that she's reclaiming her art but I'm mostly interested in the vault tracks for the pop albums. The fact that she's hyping them is interesting. We'll be lashing hard if they're Bad Bloods and The Mans. :swan:

I think the only way she could make me unstan with this album is if she gets Harry Styles on a vault song.

This is pretty much exactly how I feel. TLTV was a major eye-opener for me as to how good This Love actually was. WDTV was also pretty excellent, and aside from a few minor nitpicks that I can tune out if I don't focus too closely, it's more than a suitable replacement. But yeah, I'm really worried about the other singles (aside from Blank Space, which should be pretty easy, imo)

1989 had almost 10 million streams yesterday on Spotify - how much will it increase today?

Any chance she'll do the radio edit version of Wildest Dreams? The fan made ones on YT do not sound quite right the mixing is not well done

Pop perfection - super excited for this!! But am I the only one who thought Wildest Dreams TV and This Love TV’s production are inferior to the original? :chick3: I love the new vocals but I’m not sure why the new instrumentals do not sound as punchy as the originals

I guess she’s splitting the TVs into two groups: the important 3 (Red, 1989, reputation) and the less important 3 (Fearless, Speak Now, Taylor Swift). So I’m guessing the next one after 1989 will be debut in the first half of 2024 (or 2025 if she wants to release new music next year, which she should), and then reputation in the fall to close out the re-recording project. I think rep would be a good closer, as its over-arching themes can be transposed from the KimYe situation to the Scooter/Scott debacle.

She needs to end with Debut. It's poetic. Reputation as the last one is so anti climatic.

in the last years there have been several hints to Annie Lennox (which was a declared inspiration for the album).

As it was Like a Prayer album so Madonna is a possible name too, and a source wrote time ago taylor team asked a collaboration to the biggest name you can think of.

Then i think to Selena cause she seems the friend from that era always has been there for her, even during the 2016 disaster.

The cover is awful. The thing I've loved about the TV covers is they're elevated versions of the originals, but still the same aesthetic. This is completely different from the 1989 cover, and the graphic design is awful. And five vault tracks/two discs for that album that launched her career into the stratosphere is super disappointing. Feels like they spent way too much on the re-recording for this one and had to cut it short. Probably Max Martin's fault.

the most important albums of the borchetta era are fearless, red and 1989. The less speak now, reputation and Taylor Swift.

I don't want to open a discussion about quality or whatever but this is an objective fact.

Since Taylor Lautner appearance,  I have been pretty sure Harry will be involved somehow sadly

Hate it but we all know she is always bad with choices

Had a horrible dream last night that Taylor announced 1989 TV and this was the cover. A true nightmare. Imagine the collapse? I don't think I'd survive that.
