Taylor Swift - '1989 (Taylor's Version)'

There’s no way we don’t get at least one music video for this. Maybe two if we are lucky. It wouldn’t make any sense not to get any for this, all things considered. Even Debut TV will probably have a music video.

I'm just not sure she's had the time to shoot a new music video. She filmed 'I Can See You' during her one week off during tour, since the tour has wrapped she been in NYC non-stop and she always shoots in LA or on location. There's been 0 leaks of any kind from insiders, random twitter people who were extras, not even fake deuxmoi rumors.

Welcome To New York (TV) video confirmed :jonny:

She will 100% drop a video for one of the vault songs. There’s no way Red/SN get vault videos and not 1989. It’s her hallmark pop album, and the pre orders alone show how anticipated this re-recording is. Plus, she only pushed CS in the latter stages which makes me think she doesn’t want it to eclipse the 1989TV single.

Y'all are telling me I just went through 40+ pages just for lyrics? Y'all are going to hell. :deadbanana2:

Also, taste is subjective. Just because someone who’s received their album early says none of the vault tracks are “smashes”, that doesn’t make it a fact.

Remember the secret sessions? Sometimes some of the least favorite songs on the album got hyped whilst the album highlights got virtually ignored. I take any pre-release judgements/criticisms with a pinch of salt, tbh.

I guess that does make sense but it’s not unfathomable to think she could’ve shot a video a long time ago, or somewhere in NYC without us knowing - a studio video for example. And I definitely think she had plenty of time after the US let ended, between then and Mexico, that she could’ve filmed something. It just doesn’t make any sense to drop the re-recording of her biggest album - the one where she started focusing on music videos a lot more and creating big spectacles also - without one or multiple MVs.

I'm just glad some of these vault tracks seem to be sadder/slower. One of the gripes I had with 1989 OG was that it was too saccharine and could've needed more "Clean" like moments!

the interesting thing of 1989 is most of them are sad love songs but they are pop bops. Most critics say at the time it was like Dancing on my own but as a full album and it's kinda true. So i hope the vaults can hhave a similar lyrics-sound concept, for the "slow song- acoustic song - sad song" we have all the other albums.

Everyone who heard that said that so I guess that's true...

Now I wish there is an insane surprise tomorrow but I doubt it (I mean double CD or whatever)

Yeah that's what I meant, sonically it was just upbeat after upbeat after upbeat. That's why I'm excited to hear what these sad (lyrics wise) songs sound like :jonnycat:
