i NEED to hear at least a snippet of slüt…every testimony says it’s slow/midtempo but w the lyrics + it being THE single, i cant imagine it being that slow 😭 like im imagining smth like delicate or the blank space voice note…

Sorry i just can’t trust swfities opinion. I’m still baffled at their first reaction to Lavender Haze being “it sounds like ITHK” only because she uses falsetto in the chorus and shouts in the bridge. :skull:

Maybe she made it the single for the SHOCK factor... cuz every other Vault is slow too... must as well pick the most shocking slow song

:clack:

Like when she scammed us with MID's Dark 70s aesthetic covers

:clack:

Why are we still believing Andrew again?

Because

He has the CD, and he is a hardcore swiftie, and now he says he doesn’t like the vault tracks :suburban:

He also says SLVT! is not single material :suburban:

I really don’t think that both the “slow/mid-tempo” and “similar to The Man” takes can be true at the same time.

The Man’s lyrics were worse than its sound and vibe anyway, and we can see that these seem to be better on that front, so regardless of what’s right… I kinda think it’ll be great!

This is going to be as bad as the Lover and Midnights meltdowns isn’t it :toofunny2:

‘Cause we own this city

Our heartbreak fitting right into the sky

I’ll party like it’s 1989

While we’re in heaven,

On earth they’ll just call us suburban legends

:katie2: :katie2: :katie2:

I literally already have over 100 plays :deadbanana2: When this 0:26 demo made in a hour to troll us is better than the entire Vault then what?

Truly Perfect Illusion 2.0  let me give that a stream too.

And it seems like the album itself is going to be as bad as them

This man having the album means nothing about taste. What are his other favorite songs? How do I know he’s not secretly an untrustworthy Right Where You Left Me hater? What if he listens to London Boy and likes it? You have to know these things about a person before you can trust what they say!

You already know it is going to be a disaster because so many Swifties forget these are vault tracks for a reason but treat this as if she is releasing all brand new songs she recently crafted brand new and intended to be hits. They are simply meant to be incentives to build interest and give stream her version over the originals for more casual people. They can still be great, but so many definitely create WAY too high expectations

Many times the hype makes you expect monumental things but with listening you realize that the bop is there, that makes a hit timeless

Ok but Lavender Haze DOES have some very similar production to I Think He Knows, I totally get the comparison even though they're different.

A better example would be "Gorgeous has lyrics that could cut glass" :rip:

Anyone know if this is coming at 9pm PST or if I'm wasting my time getting hyped up?

Bye. Midnights is great, and Lover, while not great as a whole, still has some of her best songs on it.
