This is revisionism of history by Jack and his followers

1989 is Max and Taylor

All hits are Max, Jack is hacking her career

Sweeter Than Fiction, Out Of The Woods, I Don't Wanna Live Forever, Look What You Made Me Do, some of the best songs on Rep (Getaway Car, Call It What You Want), all the best songs on Lover (Cruel Summer, Cornelia Street, False God, DBATC, Lover), all his work on folklore (this is me trying, august, my tears ricochet, illicit affairs) Mr Perfectly Fine, All Too Well 10, I Can See You, Midnights...

Yeah clearly, a HACK. Bad songs and flopping only. :rip:

Haven't we over the Max thing before? There's no bad blood (heh) between them. Taylor still works with people under his team (Elvira, Shellback, etc.). She just prefers the artistic collaborations with Antonoff and Dessner.

Some Truth in here!!

could vocal issues purely just be that Taylors voice has matured/she obviously isn’t in those head spaces she was in when writing and recording other than it being a Max issue

sadly i’m gonna have to pretend The Very First Night and Hits Different are 1989 Max Martin vault songs :clap3:

they are not new

Sorry to quote such an old post but I figured it would be worthwhile to dispel anyone's lingering doubts.

This was the quote in direct response to a user that questioned the validity of the 1989 vault songs. Now, back to your regularly scheduled programming.

I mean even if you really hate Jack despite the huge proportion of her discography he’s produced, you kinda have to just get through it, like she’s not going to just drop someone she’s called “musical family”

Truth be told, it must be hard to stan Taylor if you can't stand Jack's work considering he's all over her discography, even more with the re-recordings.

Some people find 70% those songs awful, dated, or carried by her lyrics :rip: It's up to subjective taste.

IDWLF (her worst song ever) :pukey: LWYMMD :pukey: CIWYW :pukey: Cornelia Street :pukey: False God :pukey: DBATC :pukey: illicit affairs :pukey: 60% of MID :pukey: ICSY :pukey:

Bar LWYMMD, i haven't played any of those more than 3 times since release :rip: but if u like Jack, that's also fine ofc. We're both gonna drag Jack/Max regardless :bird:

To me, it takes Hack 10 tries to make 1 good song (August), or an initially good song that ages like milk, due ONLY to his repetitive overused instrumental quirks (GC, CS, OOTW) :giraffe:

To me, Max has more hits in percentage to how many songs he's made with her :giraffe:

To me, Massaging A Butthole is orgasmic :giraffe:

I went from disliking 90% of Hack's Lover/Puta songs, to 60% of MID, so lets celebrate that

She's not going to appear until Thursday with an announcement to bring back the hype for the album, right? I hope we can break the Spotify record with the right promo  :coffee:

Let's see if Jack Antonoff stans are correct and if he will give us Style 2.0 and Blank Space 2.0 in the vaults, otherwise he flopped  :cm:

Taylor posted the Midnights Manifest timetable calendar on the Monday of its release week. It's already Tuesday so if she's going to do big promo for 1989 tv she needs to post about it very soon.

I'm gonna stop you there, I have nothing against Max at all. I just don't share the sentiment that he needs to come back because I don't think he has much to bring left in him in 2023.

What else are we meant to talk about? He's the only producer on the vaults so :lakitu:

I cannot fathom hating all those songs yet still being a fan of Taylor. Like, what is left to like?

I hope this is a case like Red TV and Midnights, and not a case like Fearless or Speak Now.
