I’m suddenly being so emotional rn, shaking and crying:deadbanana4:

I don’t know why, but it must be something about this ***** and her power upon us

I’m excited and worried about this at the same time :deadbanana4: If “SLVT!” is ME! 2.0 then what? What should we do to handle the embarrassment if she botches both Blank Space and Style?

I can’t imagine the day when she announce and release TS11. Just imagine the meltdown :deadbanana4:

Jack haters are so weird. Jack composed the most 80s/90s sounding songs on 1989 (Max compositions take inspiration from those eras but also mixes in current trends). Out Of The Woods and I Wish You Would are both excellent tributes to the synth heavy 80s sounds (Yazoo, 80s Madonna) while You Are In Love is her own Secret Garden. It's very strange that Jack is denigrated by the same people who worship Emotions by Carly, an album that is completely, unabashedly an 80s tribute.

Very curious about the Diane song. I'm not familiar with her work but if it's going to sound like what Imogen composed for her, we are in for a treat.

Am I supposed to believe we’ve already heard all the songs written and produced by Max Martin & Shellback? Let’s take another look at the vault, mama @Taylor Swift

Y'all hating songs you haven't even heard yet

:suburban:

Tensions are high right before any Taylor release. If this leaks and we get a repeat of the 2 days before Midnights…

Have you seen the quality of my merchandise? I'm not paying Max Martin that much money when even my fans will buy 8-seconds of static from me

I’m fine if she doesn’t work with MM on new projects anymore, but not having him on the Vault is sad…

on the other hand we have some new producers which is exiting!

We’re not gonna be free of Jack anytime soon, so you Need to calm down MP3

It feels very weird to me that 1989 tv doesn't have any Max Martin & Shellback vaults when all the fan favorites and hits from that album were produced by them. Shake It Off, Blank Space, Style, Bad Blood, Wildest Dreams, New Romantics. Sorry but Jack is unable to replicate the pop magic that those songs had.

Taylor even made Max Martin the co-executive producer of the original 1989. This was HIS album. I am truly shocked and disappointed.

It's undeniable that Bad Blood is one of her most iconic songs and has one of her most catchiest hooks. Just because you don't like that song doesn't mean that's not true.

It’s also undeniable that most fan favorite songs and the most praised by fans in general are (almost) all Jack songs and yet here we are :khalyan2:

Also he charges somewhere between 100-200K just to record a single song. Scott Borchetta was cheap back then and wouldn't allow any track he paid that much money for to be cut from the album.

Well not really because we know that reputation has at least 1 Max Martin scrapped song called 'Family' so there are definitely unreleased songs produced by him sitting in the vault. Taylor made a conscious decision to not include him on the 1989 tv vault.

Yes and none of those fan favorites produced by Jack compare to anthemic punchy songs like Style, New Romantics, and Blank Space. Be so for real now. August is not on the same level as them :rip:

Is MM  gonna profit from songwriting credits?

Full disclosure that I didn’t edit this myself and idk who did it but I’ve had it saved since August so :eli:

You all can go to Ariana base if you want some MM bops I guess. Jack is staying on TS11, 1989 vault & reputa vault.
