Jack haters in here crying, I live :clap3:

They started with Sweeter Than Fiction, an underrated gem, and he’s been there for some of her all time best songs since then :clap3:

Y’all can keep your dated Max Martin fantasies to yourselves :gaylorcat2:

Can someone explain are the vault tracks all demos from the original 1989 sessions that she’s recording now? Or are some of them more recent and she’s just tacking them on?

rideordie said they were not new songs (they were written in 2013-2014)

he also implied that Max didn't produce FTV tracks when he quoted a user here

Not her denying Max and Shellback on the vault tracks. :bounce:

I mean 1989 is THEE Max Martin album so I totally get the fans being disappointed.

But wow Diane collab is so exciting :jonny5:it’s the second song & Rideordie kinda teased it so I expect it will be good.

Also there won’t be Elvira produced songs this time so no more cheap sound pop tracks  we won!

patrik credits I just fell to my knees :jonny5:

FINALLY! I’ve been waiting a decade for the Diane Warren track! For those who are unfamiliar with her work, she wrote:

Celine Dion - Because You Loved Me
LeAnn Rimes - How Do I Live, Can’t Fight The Moonlight, But I Do Love You
Aerosmith - I Don’t Wanna Miss A Thing
Bonnie Tyler - Save Up All Your Tears
Toni Braxton - Unbreak My Heart
Starships - Nothings Gonna Stop Us

Diane and Taylor are two of the greatest female writers in history. My expectations for Say Don’t Go are very high. There is no excuse for them to write a bad song together

Other than Cruel Summer, all my favourite Taylor songs of all time are Max Martin songs so I am a bit sad to see there’s no Max Martin on the vault :(

Expected some Imogen Heap outtakes, ngl.

What’s not clicking? Jack wasn’t even a producer back then, so his stuff was the first to be cut most likely. I wanted to see some Imogen Heap in the vault, but I guess they really just worked on Clean. Patrik Berger got me excited tho :jonny:

We are ready for our 10 week AC hit!

Ngl I’ve always confused her with the lady she wrote IBYTAM with, and I just realized they’re two different people :deadbanana4:

She needs to work with new people

The Diane Warren track finally seeing the light of day is interesting. Can’t believe it was leaked nearly a decade ago that they worked together and we had absolutely nothing to go off of, not even a title, and now we’re getting it. :duca:

Jack continues to destroy her musical legacy

Swifties love him cause Taylor loves him.

He hasn't done anything interesting for Taylor in years.

This is highly disappointing

I know that quality is subjective and all, but keep in mind you're saying this the literal same day a Jack track went #1 in the US and one day after a primarily Jack-produced album made it to a full consecutive year in the US top ten. Signs point to him being a well-received collaborator for her and to her knowing what she's doing.

It’s so weird that ATRL is the only place where I see Jack haters. :skull:

Like, the man is 50% responsible for Maroon. We ain’t getting rid of him.

I remember hearing something about how Max demands a minimum number of songs in an album to be credited as executive producer (10 iirc), so I expected these to be the Jack ones that got pushed out

As longs as the quality is there and they fit the album idc who is in the credits atp.
