I feel like I mention this every single time someone brings up the 1989 tour, and it's pretty much useless info, but I just find it interesting

 

Madonna's 2005 documentary, which includes footages from her Reinvention Tour, was also shot by Jonas Akerlund and presumably edited by the same team (?). The editing and color grading is identical to the 1989 tour, I was speechless. All the random slow-mo shots, numbers and backdrops layered over the footage just like he did for 1989 absolutely sent me 

 

Honestly, I think the 1989 film looks amazing color-wise. It's so bright and colorful, but the editing is the worst I've ever seen. It's so funny in hindsight but I wish we had a better edit of this tour film. JAIL!

I think it also makes the transition to the TVs easier as well. Anticipation is at an all time high

Now that I think about it, I don’t find myself listening to the re recorded songs 

I usually only use the vault tacks the most and the newer albums 

But 1989 is an album I do tend to play a lot so idk how I feel

1989 is her biggest album, infinitely bigger than Speak Now. I think signed CDs this time around are a real possibility, but if she’s doing them, they probably won’t drop for a few more weeks.

I can;t wait for the film. @Jade @Jaded. (I dont remember which one it was that spoke to me lol) but your advice really helped me and I dont mind going to the movie alone anymore!   I'm looking forward to it actually and maybe i'll sit next to some kind and social switifties and I can geek out with them or something
