So here where I live it's only the blue or this weird orange vinyls (I wish it was more orange, it look beige), what to buy?

I mean the extra song... but I'm not really listening to them, it's just to collect, same price. What you all guys bought?

If you don't care about the extra song then go for the blue since that's the assigned color of the era and is more representative for display imo :bird:

I was indifferent to OOTW until the MV came out, which greatly elevated the song imo :clap3:

I think also but isn't TOO similar to that blue-ish of the original Midnights? cuz I have that color.

I mean the moonstone blue which I have to that blue of 1989, I never bought the purple or other colors and I looked again now on her site it's it looks so similar... or is it just me?

I think Midnights moonstone blue is more of a very light translucent grey leaning blue and the 1989 one is an opaque pastel blue so they'd look very different in real life

You can see here they're really different. Midnights pulls more green/greyish blue depending on the lighting and is translucent (it also has a marbled effect which varies in intensity depending on each pressing). 1989 is distinctly solid pastel blue and is opaque.

I didn't hate SIO when it came out but I was thoroughly disappointed by it. It ended up growing up on ME!, though.

the revisionist history in here to make it seem as though the lead of to 1989 was anything like Lover’s :rip:

FR, apparently people are too good for SIO now even though they were praising 1989 for months but suddenly stopped when the the TV is coming :lakitu:

1989 is timeless. Not a single bad song, all songs are excellent. It winning AOTY made it even greater.
O1989H can cry about it.

Let it be known that all of these songs are either 10/10 or 9/10 for me except Bad Blood, which is the only one I never listen to anymore. However, even it goes off and is so much fun live, so I guess 1989 really is that album in the end. :clap3:

So true. The only song that has aged at all was Bad Blood, which for me was a miss on arrival. Clean is also top track for me! Immediately loved that song. So excited for the re-recording.

Clean is my favorite Taylor song of all time, and I absolutely can’t wait for the re-recording. :clap3:

I’ve never loved Bad Blood. I don’t like the subject (too petty for me tbh), and I just don’t enjoy the sound + even the lyrics. However, I’ve seen it live now multiples times and it’s oddly somehow always a highlight? It’s so much fun. I never actually just listen to it though, and aside from the 1-2 times I’ll play the TV when it’s released, that won’t change.
