However, It does look unethical that she is not including the Kendrick Lamar version of Bad Blood into the track list of the TV when his version is the one that gave her another #1 and a Grammy award. Bad Blood remix played a big role in the 1989 era and it would be shameful

I hope they stock 100K each vinyl for the 4 editions :jonny5:

Considering Midnights sold 161k digital sales, I wouldn’t be surprised if the digital preorders for 1989 TV were around 50-80k, bringing the total to 900k+.

If 1989 TV is really at 900k then she's opening with no less than 1.4 million.

I always sense she wanted the 1989 TV to be without features so the Nicki alleged feature was a ridiculous theory from the fans.

Bad Blood remix played a big role in the 1989 era and it would be shameful if it got belittled to being a limited edition Target bonus track. :deadbanana4:

It should at least get a stand-alone version released. Do we agree?

Bad Blood remix has never been released in any 1989 versions so i don't think there is nothing wrong It's not in this album.

She clearly want a strong album that feels like a full album without looking like a compilation ...so  no remixes and no fillers  (this Is what you came for Sweeter than fiction or i don't wanna live Forever even if this One could be for rep etc...).

For the same reason seems like She was very selective with the vault tracks this time. So easily She rejected again a couple of even more new tracks could have been there just to get more streaming numbers.

But there is also you are in love as track 15.

The main tracklist has 8 consecutive tracks without a ballad or a soft Song so 2 pop dance consecutive songs are possibile.

I think could be a ballad more because this would made It maybe different from blank space, but everything is ok for me of It's a good Song.

Didn’t we know she barely had any unreleased songs for 1989 though? Maybe these 5 songs are the only ones she actually had.

True. Well, if Slvt! Is upbeat then Say Don't Go is probably a ballad. Idk.. omg I don't know how I'm gonna survive until October 27th :deadbanana2:

It’s so interesting that Slvt was left off the original album. I think it’ll be like Blank Space (lyrically) but will delve deeper into the whole ****-shaming ordeal during the Red era. My guess is BM didn’t want it on the album as they were still pushing the squeaky clean, girl next door image.

I hope we see the credits soon; it’ll be interesting to see which are Max songs and which are Jack.

You wanted it, you got it!

IF I LIKE HIM I'LL TAKE HIM OUT!

I'll say it proudly without a doubt!

I AM A S..L..U..T! SLVT!

Just put it in my WHAT!!!

1989TV will challenge Midnight for biggest streaming week. She has all the promo lined up and the Eras Tour Movie will be the extra push it needed over the weekend. :jonny5:

Yeah, I don’t think the 1989 sessions were as extensive as, say, SN or Red. I think she had a really clear vision in her head (think she came up with it the night Red lost AOTY if I remember the interview correctly). That, plus Max/Shellback are very expensive so I’d imagine very little of their songs were left behind.

She learned her lesson after Red tv that album had way too many filler tracks

Aw I loved Red TV. IBYTAM was actually my least favorite vault track.

She did. She lost AOTY for Red, skipped the after party, and she went to In And Out Burger and cried. She went home and went to sleep. She had a dream and the dream had the STAY!!'s from AYHTDWS and she came up with the concept. In fact, AYHTDWS was the first song she recorded and wrote for 1989. The last was I Know Places.

Im really happy all the vault songs are solo.

Don’t get me wrong, I’ve loved some of the collabs (Castles Crumbling, IBYTAM), but others have deffo been a miss. 1989 was originally a completely solo pop album, plus, it’s really smart because if she breaks records with it she has bragging rights as it’s an entirely solo album.

No the first song she recorded was This Love (in October 2012 according to Lover deluxe journals). The last songs were Style and Shake It Off according to an interview she did in 2014.

Oh okay! I stand corrected on that part. However I do know the dream she had the night Red lost AOTY the dream had STAY! in it.

True but Red It's her "compilation" album (in a good way) so doesn't matter. Years ago She described Red as a Pollack Paint ' i threw up different thing to a wall", while She has always said She wrote 1989 to be a cohesive album.

So i find what she is doing with every album coherent with the original visions of every album.
