I’m hoping the vault tracks are all single-worthy because there’s only 5. I have faith she’s really put the work in with these 5 and hopefully has trimmed off the fat so we’re left with only the good stuff.
 

I’m so sick to death of Antonoff’s lethargic synth-scape production (most offensive on Midnights, though TS’s lazy writing also left a lot to be desired). I’m really hoping she serves more songs with instantly recognisable, atmospheric instrumentals like Style. 
 

I also wouldn’t be mad if the 5 tracks had a little more experimental flavours of the late 80s, hints of that era’s indie or rock within the pop sound.

I'm having a hard time seeing both Lust or **** as a title, maybe for Reputa but not for 1989. 

 

Maybe those letters are an acronym for the full title?

**** makes a lot of sense actually. A lot of people called her like that during the red era so maybe as for nothing new is a song she didn't have the courage to release at the time. 

 

It doesn't have to be a single. Maybe they're not announcing it to hype the song for his shock value or just because it's a feat.
