I absolutely love the cover and the feeling it exudes. It matches the sound of the album so well!

 

I liked the original cover but this one is so much better to me. My only ick I guess is the 'version' in the text. I hope somebody does an edit that says Swift instead of version.

 

1989 is my favorite album of hers so I'm really excited to hear this!

I absolutely adore the cover, and I love how she’s smiling, considering how much we know she was struggling during the initial era.

I think she's also been very clever with the order in which she's releasing them. She knows she'll sell more toward the end of the year, so she's saving the bigger re-recordings for the October/November slot (Red, 1989, Reputation) and using the earlier months for the re-recordings that she doesn't expect will garner as much attention (Fearless, Speak Now, Debut). I won't be shocked at all if Debut TV drops in April-June 2024 and Reputation in November of that same year. Then TS11 can destroy careers in mid-to-late 2025.

Are you really sure this was on Taylor’s mind for the 1989 TV rollout ? Seems a bit of reach to speculate that just because the album title has 9s in it.
