She’s going to do something special for 1989 tv. All of the vault tracks will be solo then Day of album release she’s going to announce a deluxe edition with remixes of all the vault songs featuring different artists, the bad blood remix, sweeter than fiction, more vault tracks, and those vault tracks with remixes. Nicki, Lorde, Dua, Harry, haim, Selena, The Weeknd

Would not be surprising at all  especially because she has that rule about not having multiple same types of songs on the same album  also I’m pretty sure she’s actually re writing parts of these vault songs as she goes … revisionist history queen. Also I think she was probably contractually obligated to include Ryan Tedder songs on the original . The vault will be 2 max, 1 jack, 1 imogen, 1 Ryan Tedder I think … then if we get more surprise vault tracks I’m unsure who they’d be

This is the most “1-foot in the grave” response I’ve seen in a while.

 

The year we’re in has nothing to do with Kendrick. Then saying that Nicki would work (with a rap that doesn’t even rhyme) over HAIM 
 

HAIM and Lorde are the only two obvious “fitting” collabs on the list, it’s not hard to imagine how they’d sound on the album. Not that the others wouldn’t work, but these two specifically give a “yeah, duh” to how they would fit.

 

The Weeknd take is clearly from someone who’s not a fan…Abel has so many vocal styles that he fits himself into stuff.

 

Selena is an obvious choice with what she’s had going on recently and the fact that it’s taken this long to get a collab from “best friends” is crazy.

Tbh a Nicki x Taylor collab on a vault track of 1989 would make so much sense. It would’ve been originally written in like 2013/ 2014 and every pop star and their mother was making songs with Nicki at time

I don't think any of the vault collabs so far were picked that way though. Except for maybe Run. The rest were new collaborations with people she looks up to at the moment (or who, according to Taylor, inspired the album)

Nicki should have just been on a Karma Remox. She isn’t going to be giving a Taylor Swift song her best lines. It will be one of her basic / generic barz so why waste it on anything other than a remix feature for a quick #1 peak like a Karma remix with her instead of Ice Spice could have gotten.
