Standard cover is the best one of released three, I kinda like it and I would've love it without the text, but it is what it is. 

 

But those two additional covers, god forbid, they can can stay IN the vault. Maybe the pink one will be a saviour

I don't like the green one at all personally, I feel like the yellow one is cute but it's just not 1989 to me

Mte, she's trying so hard to sell 1989 as upper class shore album, when it was clearly made to be NYE album (and that aesthetics suits it perfectly), and I expected the same vibe from new covers

It's especially hard to see when sntv and ftv got cover arts so authentic to the originals.

 

Personally I grew up with Red and am also very nostalgic about 1989.

 

I was really happy with the red cover art I felt it kept the same vibes but with a slight bit of added maturity, I also really appreciated the vault tracks and opportunity to get such a sentimental album to me signed.

 

With 1989 I am fearful the art doesn't surpass the original, but it's tolerable... and I'm fearful for my signed copy since she refused to get her pen out for sntv.

Red OG was iconic and whole photoshoot was absolutely wonderful, so the TV cover looks like absolute blasphemy to me, she sohuld keep that evermore reject in the vault

i think those evermore pics are actually a Red TV reject since she's wearing the Red ring which means the photoshoot was specifically for that

I think her goal was to force as many French people to go to the show and get converted. That's what happened in Ireland when 1/4 the total population got free tickets to the Croke Park shows of the Rep tour. Before that it was just another market for her, now she's miss Irelandicana and, pound for pound, does better there than almost anywhere else on the planet
