Lemon Posted October 27, 2023 Posted October 27, 2023 Although some people are shocked how Taylor had to choose between Blank Space and Slvt for the original edition of 1989, both of these songs are actually quite equally gorgeous. Blank Space is just more layered thematically around many aspects of her dating celebrity persona, while Slvt is more intimate and focuses of specific fling situation.

I just wanted to highlight how Slvt doesn’t deserve to be discarded easily just because we are well accustomed to Blank Space being classic like it is as if that diminishes Slvt’s quality. 1
