MingYouToo
BLACKPINK on track to crack 300M+ for a tour on their 7th year as a group. For comparison, these are other female popstars biggest tours up to their 7th yr in the mainstream (adjusted for inflation): RED Tour: 196M/86 shows 1989 Tour: 320M/85 shows I Am World Tour: 170M/108 shows Sweetener Tour: 170M/101 shows Prismatic World Tour: 251M/151 shows Born This Way Ball: 231M/98 shows Blonde Ambition Tour: 162M/57 Funhouse Tour: 142M/151 shows Born Pink Tour: 300M+/64 shows BLACKPINK, an Asian act barely 7 years into the mainstream, pulling numbers most MPGs only achieve 15+ years into their careers. Is this a sign of how massive their fandom is? Is the only way to go up? Are you impressed by the new MPGs?

superben
Only Taylor Swift is a bigger touring force, but TS is like another league from everyone else, so yes, BP is bigger at touring than all other MPGs
Odette Violet
Impressive indeed. A proof that you don't need to break in US and A to be successful
Squall
It makes no sense to compare their 2023 stats with other pop stars’ pre-covid ones.
Rev8
Comparing a tour from 2023 to one from 2008, or even 1990? Touring climates were very different then This is not rly fair lol 1

This. let alone Madonna’s tour from 1990. if you think adjusting for inflation is enough to cover the gaps then you’re def confused
Yawn
it’s still surprising and impressive to me how the k pop groups haven’t really cracked the mainstream in Europe and USA, yet they sell out all these stadiums in markets where they have little gp recognition we can only imagine if these acts had a wider presence in the west, considering they can tour on such a large scale already

Marianah Adkins
Ticket price inflation is real Unfair to compare touring grosses in different eras when ticket prices have been inflated + touring market has become bigger + Post-Covid demand has skewered the prices to the roof. With that being said, yas Blackpink The way Kpop stans tried to sabotage them using fancams of their “bad” performances but they keep exceeding expectations
