Actually, it was Gaga's song first and then she gave it to Cher when Cher said she wanted it.

They call it Bye Girl for a reason. It's not a bad song, but it's definitely a bit underwhelming as a collab with Lady ******* Gaga and Florence ******* Welch. It could've been so much more.
