Btw Home Depot is gonna sue her if someone catches this similarity in their team

This is really a Wet Leg song, not as funny as they usually are but the bridge is gorgeous.

Yeah she just doesn’t have the humor or personality to pull off the silly, bratty spoken word thing. Someone like Avril would sell it way better.

The song kinda reminds me of The Waitresses actually.

Okay this was an experience upon first listen... I was truly giving it a chance because I needed her Good 4 U moment to get me through the rest of the summer

I applaud Miss Rodrigo for giving us a more upbeat song :clap3:

However, the end of the song with the guitar solo that sounds like a flute at certain octaves.... pots and pans, I fear

Time to play it on repeat 3172 times until my brain accepts nothing but loving it and accepting this is arts, not the charts :gaycat1:bad idea, right?

Very Post-punk revival like not hearing the grunge that pulse guy said except the guitar solo in the last chorus. Her best song yet certainly, the hook is way more instant than vampire but, radio will be late on this hoping it serves a I Hate U/Shirt not a Blind/Nobody Gets Me. The production is *****'s best with her it's way more cohesive and less piecemeal than vampire. The camp doesn't sound dated and her delivery sells it perfectly.

Like. :coffee:

This will be another easy 700M hit for her down the line, but I hope she has a G4U incoming :WAP:

Oh, yes, I know that he's my ex
But can't two people reconnect?
I only see him as a friend
I just tripped and fell into his bed

i do think the verses could've had a tiny bit more camp to it like just a pinch more, you already have the home depot bass just go full out at this point

this is gonna go hard live and it's her least vocally challenging single so far so it's more about the vibe so she'll be able to go all out even if she's nervous for award shows and doesn't wanna do vampire
