I feel like she lost a lot of her core audience after the sonic switch. It's a shame, but she used to feel bigger during her mixtape days.

Her first era was done completely independently. But for her debut album, she sought out labels to distribute via. So she ended up landing 1 album distribution deal with Fader. Another deal was signed after this, I don't know for how many albums though.

 

She'd probably love to be with a major label, as Fader isn't too big. Who knows what the future holds.
