Swifties are what the media portrays the hive as. BTS and Barbz are top 2 craziest. But Swifties are a close 3rd when it comes to obsession. They will buy 4 copies of the same song (witches version, etc.) and multiple vinyls in different colors to boost sales numbers. Sure other fan bases do this but they do it to a whole nother level and their queen is playing the game right along with them sucking them dry of every penny. 
 

It was cute at first but now they have lost their damn minds. I had to unfollow a girl on TikTok cause she recorded herself screaming and crying at the eras tour to a song no one should be crying or screaming to…. She looked like a psychopath. And behind her thousands of other Taylor wannabe looking teens doing the same thing. It looked like a church service and Jesus himself was on stage. You would think the girl is hitting Mariah notes and doing the moonwalk at the same time. Scary stuff. 
 

I also can’t go a single day without interacting with a Taylor tweet talking about numbers. You know who also did massive numbers? Numbers more massive than all of the undeniable worldwide legends of the 80s and 90s? Shania Twain and nobody’s checking for her now (whew I just know this sentence will get me jumped).

Just because a fan base is big doesn’t mean it’s “the worst”. Y’all always look for the most active ones instead of looking elsewhere - sometimes all it takes is small fan base of like 2-3 stans but the way they behave it’s enough to call them the worst. Swifties are not bad at all compared to others on atrl at least

Swifties are annoying but that's because they can, Taylor is just in another level right now and the stats back it up. Swifites never really cared if she's the best vocalist or dancer, so the delusion is not as glaring as the Little Monsters.

2011 little monsters behaving and sounding like russian trolls/propagandists saying that russia is the loading bearing structure on which the entire world is build on. Without russia, the entire world would collapse. They live in alternate reality and make outrageous claims, lies,... They said that their fave invented the air you breathe.

 

The good news was that little monsters started wars with everyone. It was easy for the Kats to ally with everyone like how 54 countries are supporting Ukraine militarily.

 

Once E.T. pushed BTW down from #1 in April 2011, gaga emergency released singles, music videos,... in the hope to get noticed and stay somehow relevant with the GP. The GP said no to dance pop and Adele changed the sound on the radios.

 

One of my war aims was dividing the enemy population by 4 times and we achieved that in 2 years time (2011-2013). Such a quick war is unprecedented in pop history, it is common to see rivalries going 30+ years without a victory, Metallica vs Iron Maiden, metalheads vs punks (metal snobs preferring professionalism, playing the instruments properly vs punk slobs preferring attitude over professionalism, skills, talent),...

 

A large part of the monsters vs Kats war was about monsters finding ways to cope with the decline. In 2011 they attacked the Hive during the 4 era because another big name has declined at least as much as their fave. They look for targets that might have fallen as low than their fave to claim some sense of superiority to feel good.

 

The monsters play victim by pretending that nothing else happened before 2013 and were jumped by all the bases coming out of nowhere.

LMs have also listened to other artists before Gaga's debut, so maybe we're really just supposed to blame Britney Army? Or whoever else was big at the time.

You illustrated the overlap between fanbases and how it's not the fanbase that's insufferable but a few individuals who, and I cannot stress it enough, stan more than just one artist. An insufferable oliviainator can just as much be a swiftie, a lot of Rihanna's stans surely have to listen to other artists now that she retired.

I wasn't around in 2011 so I wouldn't know about Little Monsters, but Swifties should be so chill and they're literally the opposite. They're the reason for most of the hate Taylor gets. I know I would be 0% annoyed at Taylor if it wasn't for them. I try to separate the artist from the stans because lord knows my fanbase is insufferable, but they make it so hard.

 

How are you gonna act insecure when the artist you support is one of the biggest of all time? It literally does not compute in my brain.
