Proof? Folklore outperformed Anti globally

ANTI is 6X Platinum in the US alone and has like 6M more units outside of the USA. Anti also obliterates on Youtube, Sporify, Pandora, Deezer etc etc

Anti did more in the US though Folklore will overtake ot there too. But globally Folklore is bigger overall and is still selling significantly more

And it's not our problem y'all have to rely on outdated certifications that only capture partial units from a selected few countries instead of relying on actual global numbers :rip:

“Global numbers” that are mostly compiled by stans using flawed and inconsistent methodologies as opposed to sales validated by certifying bodies which have to go through thorough crosschecking. I bet you believe chartmasters is more reliable than RIAA, ARIA because it has inflated Taylor’s numbers beyond comprehension

Good luck with that. ANTI remains bigger based off its 3 GLOBAL SMASH HITS alone, something Taylor hasn’t scored on the 8 or 9 albums she’s released since ANTI 😂

Certifications would be better if they were automatic and implemented globally, but they just are not. RIAA has folklore as 2x Platinum (2,000,000) despite the album currently standing at 4.7M units as per Billboard. You could double its certifications and it still would not match its actual units. Limiting yourself to certifications is quite simply idiotic. The fact that y'all choose not to realize it is beyond me.

Mind you RIAA also includes the million Samsung free downloads of the album as part of Anti's certifications :priceless:

Certified units (units that are, you know… actually official)

Anti - 7,375m (1,375m outside the US)

folklore - 2,518m (518m outside the US)

💀 but I thought…?

This is so embarrassing for the supposed “music industry”.

Wow so Taylor doesn't even need "global smash hits" for her albums to compeletely outperform Rihanna. Just put into persepctive how much of a bigger global superstar she is, people don't need to have listen to her singles on radio/playlists to organically seek out her albums.

Oh but it doesn’t anymore. They removed that ages ago.  :rip:

And i don’t understand, the samsung sales were actually mass bought by samsung. The point was to buy albums and samsung bouhght a million copies. Like what is fraudulent about that. It was a deal

We don't know that unless you use "fan" numbers based on Billboard charts which also show that Folklore is heavily undercertified.

Taylor selling 69 versions of her albums is what inflates those units. Take away those, you’re left with evermore numbers :rip:

ANTI obliterates with more+ bigger hits+ more overall streams+ more units sold in the US and internationally (as validated by certifications)

Music sold 13m worldwide I don't think Folklore has reached that yet

No they did not. Anti is quite literally 6x Plat despite not having moved 6 million units yet. :priceless:

Even without pure sales, Folklore will overtake Anti.

Anti was released earlier but Folklore will still outsream it. Cardigan will outstream all the Anti singles too very soon.

The fact that ANTI has around 40M certified units across the album + singles in the US alone :rip:

Has Taylor achieved that recently? On her 8th album specifically?

Certifications are not automatic in the US so this metric is not relevant.  Album units are all we need to compare in the streaming era given that it includes singles success.

"2,518m"

folklore has moved more than 4.6m units officially only in the us. Are you crazy?

Oh, I see why they are relying on certification. Samsung literally bought them :priceless:

Currently Music is bigger, ANTI and folklore are about equal.

Considering folklore's current trajectory, it will easily eclipse the other two though.

The debate around certified units, when certifications are not automatic in most countries, and not even used in most countries, is hilarious.

Streams

Anti - 6,033,503,859 (+2,349,036)

Folklore - 5,334,728,431 (+7,792,116)

Take away those pure sales and Folklore will still outstream Anti in a few months.

I expected Anti to have higher daily streams on Spotify :rip:

But I guess it was kind of local

Also we have to keep in mind Anti's certifications in US can be inflated a whole million cause of the Samsung deal. They refuse to see folklore is objectively about to outstream it and outsold the pure copies after only a couple weeks.
