Don't agree with the people in here claiming men aren't called out for cheating - they definitely are too. The reason you aren't seeing people dragging this Ethan guy as hard as Ariana is because the public didn't really know who he was or care about his personal life prior to any of this.  I had seen his face before in relation to the Spongebob musical and knew he was acclaimed in broadway circles years ago but as far as the GP goes, he was not a household name at all, while Ariana is a huge household name.  If he'd been a bigger name, he would be being dragged too, but I honestly don't think people care enough about him to go out of their way to drag him. People only care about this story because pop-star Ariana Grande is involved. 

 

This situation is all the more magnified because they are both leads/co-stars in a huge publicized production of the movie version of one of the most legendary and largest Broadway musicals of all time. Makes it all the more of a scandal.  She and Ethan absolutely deserve the incoming mess given they both knew that damn set was being watched like a hawk by all the press and they still ****** up so bad.  Not worth defending them.

I act all outraged cause i like drama and laughs but i have to confess. I have a deep connection with all my fave popgirls 
Theyre part of me. My past. My experiences. My memories. My joy when i need a push everyday to move in life. Inspiration
So.....deleting them from my life is a NO even with all the problematic things.
Once i stan you i stan you for life  I will keep playing Ariana,Tay,Gaga,Shakira,Katy..............ETC till im old
The same happens with Harry Potter and other media franchises who are deemed as problematic.
Even if i feel bad for playing it. The connection to that Media has too many roots for me just to throw it all. 
Im not gonna delete all my fave things in life just cause some people want to be outraged  
i agree with the outrage and sometimes artists deserve their karma but i value too much my entertainment
Is hard cause i wanna keep my morals but without my popqueens i would be sad and depressed. 


There are some artists i dont play that much today like Justin Bieber..But im always open to listen their new records and see if they have something cool and i can go back to full staning mode.  I been noticing how this is a rarity cause so many people just drop their faves with time. I dont. Im loyal. Same with relationships. If i have a partner i will be forever with that person 

For me Music is more important than Videogames-Movies-TV Shows-Sports. Popstars have too much value 4 me 
Im more open to drop movie stars-athlethes-tv stars than Musicians.

I'm a man, so I can't really speak on if it's truly misogynistic to dub Ariana as a home-wrecker, but I will say that social media video/post is not doing her favors, and the little we do know that's objectively true (i.e. Ariana and Pete getting engaged after dating him for just 4 weeks; Ariana dating a married man after her most recent separation), it seems like Ariana would benefit from focusing on herself, what she wants out of a partner, and take dating as a learning experience. If your ethics align & you two are still going strong, then sign off on a long-term relationship; but a long-term relationship is not something that happens overnight. Then again, Ariana was married to Dalton Gomez for 2 years, so who's to say she wasn't truly in love with him and things didn't work out? 

 

I think what we're all realizing is that celebrities are just as messy as some of us are. They're not these imperfect, flawless human beings. Your faves could be cheaters, liars, or act in ways that go against your ethics. 

 

This news does make me lose respect for Ariana Grande, but because she's not directly harming me or society (i.e. she's not a pedophile or an outright racist), I will still stream her music.
