Jessie Posted April 13 Posted April 13 (edited) 4 hours ago, IBeMe said: oh no....dont make this popular lol. I am convinced Gagz missed out on an Oscar for her acting in ASIB because of the 1000 people in a room meme thing. She may have had a better chance at winning I swear Also didnt she have something else go viral during House of Gucci run? something about flies storming her and being scared to hold a gun because she felt like she was Patricia or something? That probably hampered her chance of getting a nom...she was snubbed. I just hope that she doesnt get in her own way for the Joker 2 press run ...she can be her serious self and be eccentric and create stories about how she always wanted to be a psychiatrist turned criminal ever since she was a little girl like she does with every new project BUT she has to avoid another memeable moment from getting in her way during award seasons this time around. She was never winning for ASIB, that year was dominated by two performances from Glenn, who was on the verge of a career win, and Olivia who blazed through with The Favourite. Gaga was incredibly liked for ASIB, and voters had a chance to give her her moment on stage instead with a win for Shallow. She was effectively third that year, which became clear once the Globes happened. As for her eccentric comments during press for HOG; the reason Stewart and Cruz got in was because there was more passionate grassroots campaigning with hosted private screenings by other actors during the most crucial point in the nomination process. Those are the kinds of moves that matter over traditional star promo which Gaga excelled in that year; we saw it when Riseborough got in over Viola Davis and just this year when Benning was in over Robbie. The idea that she would have only won if she hadn't reused the sound bite about Bradley having faith in her, or would have got in for HOG had she never gagged Kirsten during a zoom roundtable, are people taking stan Twitter commentary and jokes far too seriously. The same people who were convinced Maestro was an industry laughing stock because of meme jokes about Bradley. Edited April 13 by Jessie 4 1

However during HOC run she was saying smh crazy every week Omg I've never seen that pandemic interview It looks like they're all thinking " Who gave the poker face singer an acting gig and made her sit here like she's one of us" 1
Digitalism Posted April 13 Posted April 13 Didn't she tried that type of campaign twice and failed? She needs to do whatever JLC did to win
