Travis has a stronghold on a specific demographic… young straight men across all racial lines, he could hum on a track for 10 mins and they’d still get it to number one. It’s almost like a cult.
Baby Judas Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Will this be on Travis' new album? Because this sounds like a Bad Bunny song. This is not what I expected from Travis.
Armani? Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 They're dragging the song on his Instagram page lol

KatyPrismSpirit Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 this is giving frontloaded i believe. its one of those collabs that is too big that it fails as a result. Kinda like Power Is Power and Dont Call Me Angel. I think the debut is massive but it will tumble down the charts
BuzzCharts Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 This song is getting dragged to hell. It won’t have any longevity and might hurt the album.

Mark Rih Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 The reception would be totally different if the lead artist was Bad Bunny or The Weeknd. It might be nothing new for all of them but it slaps idc
wish Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 Went to check out the song & then realized I've had Travis blocked on my Spotify for a year now. And I think I'll keep it that way 1

My reading is just fine When it's still that high 2 weeks from now, then it's a hit. If it's that high a week from now it's shaping up to be a hit

Like HER was shaping up to be a successful artists but ended up as a flop 2

Katamari Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 travis' parts are my fav and it probably should have been a solo song
Cbreezy Posted July 21, 2023 Posted July 21, 2023 As someone who has NEVER been able to get into Travis' music nor understood the hype (it's always sounded like robotic noise), this is a...BOP! I appreciate the pivot too, as it's clear he was trying something different. Maybe it's my Pop-leaning ear, but there's a clear melody, decipherable lyrics, it's radio and club-friendly, and kinda feels like the type of progression/experimentation (for him) that helps an artist not be one-dimensional. If anything, I wish it was solo. As I can "tell' the assembly of these three in particular is deliberately meant to present as a flex. And while Abel and Bad Bunny did their thing, I'd have equally appreciated it as a solo track.
