Nothing “fine” about this really. Myah Marie is not just a background singer. She is literally a soundalike who was used to sing major parts of one of Britney’s studio albums. Anyone should’ve been used for the background vocals but her. Does Will even know the entire fan base loathes that album and anything associated with Myah?
 

I don’t give a **** if it’s gonna be 1% of her vocals. Her general presence alone ruins everything. Never thought we’d EVER be having this talk after Glory, but well, here we are.

Nobody cares about Britney songs having backup vocalists.
 

However, we certainly wouldn’t like to witness a ghost singer hired to record lead vocals for a Britney album 10 years ago being present on a 2023 release.

I can’t believe several people here are trying to defend Myah and justify her presence on this song  A new low for some. 

 

Were you even fans during the whole BJ disaster in 2013? Britney lost HUGE chunks of her fan base back then. I can’t believe y’all are suddenly trying to find excuses now and say **** like “oh but everybody has background singers!!1”  Myah Marie is NEVER welcome anywhere near a Britney Spears music release, especially in 2023.

This is not 2013 anymore. It's obvious that something happened in 2013 and they have to put Myah as the lead on part of the album. We don't know why but this is 2023 so Myah is going to be bg singer like all the songs have, I don't think we need to make a big deal about this.

I don't really care about background vocals. She also did background vocals on Circus and Femme Fatale, and that was fine. She was working for Britney before will.i.am ever got involved. As long as the vocals remain in the background, that's fine.
