peculiar album for me, it's not fun enough to justify it's 80s inspired production but not sad/folksy enough for me to latch onto any lyric so it exists in this middle space where it's just a bland listening experience. also this song is not what I thought this round would have, I guess its cool you went with a different approach but overall a resounding meh from me.

Pretty cool honestly, it's got a smooth vibe that I find was more prevalent in DC's 90s stuff. I think I might give this a point or two depending on the other songs!

yeah this is exactly what I expected from this round, not MITSKI! super solid bop, it totally commands your attention. her delivery makes it for me. its a bit repetitive which is prob intentional but I'll give it points for sure, I really liked it!

this song goes crazyyyy I love it. there's a lot going on but it all works bc its twigs. her music is so intricate and unique, I love when it speeds up, mega banger

Jazmine Sullivan - Don’t Make Me Wait

I LOVED Heaux Tales and Reality Show so clearly I need to check out her other albums because this is SO good. Her vocal style is always so fun to me, it makes her music so extra special. I like the beat to this too, its really funky and reminds me of stuff from Dev Hynes peak/Solange True EP type stuff. Very impressed and will check her out some more, getting points

not familiar with cupcakes music tbh  I know what she' about but I never listened. this isn't bad, it kind of reminds me of like a city girls song ksjfjls, wouldn't listen again but might give it a few points? unsure

Cool synth pop bop yeah, it stands out a bit amongst the more raunchy songs in the round flskjf, but yeah I like it. I kind of forgot about it but its nice to be reminded.

Heidi Montag - I’ll Do It

easiest 12 of the round, absolute perfection. I would NOT expect this from a random throwaway dance pop album from a reality show actress but like, why is this actually so good??? the beat is surprisingly fresh and doesn't feel like a relic of its time in any way. the chorus is so catchy, the lyrics are so quotable and stupid but in the best way.

this is really different from what I've heard from Ayesha before, this feels like a dreamy dark bop. the beat is incredible and her delivery is more soft/sultry than usual. wasn't expecting this from this song, this will get high points from me I feel

her voice is perfect, its so smooth and fits this vibe so well! this is the perfect balance between smooth R&B sex jam and pop bop, I love the use of the sample and she sounds like an absolute natural, loved!!

I was curious about who this was and then I realized she did Been Thinking which I also love. this is pretty subdued but idk I think its a smooth vibe, and the beat is addictive. I feel like anything that is vaguely afrobeats inspired is good with me yeah

not the Kim Petras song I would've expected but its super solid! and honestly one of her best songs to me, the chorus is the right amount of explosive pop banger, and it contrasts with the moody synth pop nicely
