Dagny - Too Young: so i considered sending her too but i feel like all the good songs from this EP have been submitted before. it really lags behind standouts like Fools Gold and the title track. Kelly Rowland - Crazy: i am not really into this. it's not really bad but there's something putting me off that i can't put my finger on. Nicki Minaj - Get On Your Knees (feat. Ariana Grande): i love me some Katy penned songs not sung by her but this... this sounds dated. Beach House - Silver Soul: ah finally some good food. yes Beach House yes points SOPHIE - BIPP: this has got to be my favorite SOPHIE release outside of those from her one and only album. Chase Icon - Like Me: nope nope Bridgit Mendler - Diving: nope nope (2) Nicki Minaj - Want Some More: better than the first Nicki track but not much KAYTRANADA - DYSFUNCTIONAL (feat. VanJess): while both Kaytranada entries this round are good, i am slightly leaning towards this one. it has that extra oomph i am missing from the other song. KAYTRANADA - Intimidated (feat. H.E.R.): still a great song. just needed a little kick for me. hemlocke springs - girlfriend: why is this such a bop? my fave discovery from this round. Fiona Apple - Hot Knife: it takes quite a while for me to warm up to Fiona Apple songs but this surprisingly was an instant hit for me. Nicki Minaj - All Things Go: the best Nicki entry this round for me. will it be enough to get points from me? we'll see RAYE - Black Mascara.: oh okay i see you queen. living for this Chase Icon - Call Your Mom: nope nope (3) aespa - Thirsty: oh okay i see you queens. living for this Kitty - Last Minute: it's alright. might get a point or two. Skylar Grey - Wreak Havoc: i am sorry but Jade Novah - Butterfly: another okay entry. beabadoobee - 10:36: okay Filipino excellence is back. Grimes - Belly Of The Beat: Art Angels is really that album huh? this has always been one of the standouts for me. probably my #2 after Kill V. Maim.

It sounds so familiar in the chorus... anyway generic but cute, i liked it a bit Dagny - Too Young fun chorus, kinda reminds me of love myself by hailee steinfeld. overall cute song but a bit basic for my taste Kelly Rowland - Crazy it's fine. she has much better songs... on paper this sound should be perfect for her, but the execution is lacking Nicki Minaj - Get On Your Knees (feat. Ariana Grande) this classique! definitely aged quite a bit since 2014 nnn but i'll always love this sultry bop Beach House - Silver Soul gorgeous song, teen dream is one of my fave BH albums and this is a highlight. i just love love adore their melodies SOPHIE - BIPP another classic oh wow. mega bop. maybe you just had to be there... Chase Icon - Like Me smashhh, this is one of her better songs imo

wish Posted September 2, 2023 Posted September 2, 2023 RAYE - Black Mascara. surprised by the mixed reception, this is one of my favorite dance tracks from last year. love the hypnotic refrain, love the emotion & climax towards the end Chase Icon - Call Your Mom never heard this one from Chase. this one's more melodic, i like it a lot. feel like her vocals lack tho, her delivery was more convincing in Like Me aespa - Thirsty hmmm it's nice, kinda passing me by tho. lucid dream cleared this Kitty - Last Minute omg i loove old Kitty, who sent this this EP is nostalgic for me, so dreamy and pretty Skylar Grey - Wreak Havoc ummm this was kind of a jumpscare after the last song i think i hate this sorry Jade Novah - Butterfly honestly so conflicted about this, it's really really pretty but sooo faceless and forgettable. it's really missing an IT factor beabadoobee - 10:36 one of my fave Beaba songs, love thisss Grimes - Belly Of The Beat wow i completely forgot about this sdfgd... grimes is really OVER over anyway it's still a good song, this is her best album forever
