Protocol Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 So glad certifications were updated to include streams and digital singles because they now accurately represent how huge this era felt. Like this heaux was EVERYWHERE for two years straight. The whole world heard California Gurls, Teenage Dream, Firework, E.T., Last Friday Night, Wide Awake... an iconic moment.
Mordecai Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 I remember the days when I used to have MTV music on 24/7 when nobody else was watching anything on TV and you couldn't go an hour without listening to a Katy song during TD's run. Legendary

Jjang Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 I miss the days when we had clear indications of album artists and non album artists. I remember vividly always checking the sales threads back then and everyone was pointing out how TD’s album sales are extremely slow / not proportionate to its single success. Now its all blurred. congrats to Katy however! 1
Green Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 YESSSS I hope the RIAA updates the certification soon
Walk_Away21 Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 I remember when people called the album itself a flop. A pop classic. @Sexyzinger 1

LustSpell Posted July 14, 2023 Posted July 14, 2023 The quintessential 2010 pop era. This album personified my teen years. A classic!
